Prepare for an onslaught of photos from Japan. I had a sneaky little weekend in Osaka with the fujix100v. What an incredible travel camera. Picked up the TCL converter as I'd been missing a 50mm equivalent, and this was one of the first images I snapped around 10 minutes after. Tsutenkaku tower soars above over Osaka's Shinsekai neighbourhood into some incredible moody skies. Tsutenkaku tower was originally built in 1912 to emulate the Eiffel Tower in Paris and was taken down during the second World War to fuel the war effort for its steel. Cad Bane in Sgt Denal clone trooper disguise version 2.0! Complete the mission with the Jedi holocron or the middle supply box! Really happy with how he turned out. Definitely a big improvement over the first version. Used a clone medic with a P1 upgrade visor helmet, the extra Card Bane head and a little square but of sprue for the holocron. Here's an AA5 speeder truck I'm working on! I'm trying to make it look like it was stolen by my shadow collective boys, so I'm going to add graffiti inspired by @champ_styles slowly but surely everytime something fun happens with the bus. My favorite, as always, is the black suns! That purple and yellow is a cut above the actual box art, but it depends on what art you're referencing. The pyke were surprisingly fun to paint! Now that my sleep schedule has finally reverted back to normal and I dont feel tired ALL day I thought it was time to post about our trip to the Star Wars Legion World Championships 2024 at Adepticon! And what a trip it was. From start to finish the Legion community were so welcoming, friendly and supportive, it meant that every game we played was a heap of fun, both in victory and defeat! It was great to meet up and chat to one of our competition winners @vergencegaming , as well as the team over at @graysquadrongaming , who make some great battle reports (check them out on YouTube). A huge shoutout must go to the Adepticon team, AMG and the team of judges who kept us all in check over the weekend, the event really was fantastic! And speaking of fantastic, the dedication of @thatsnomoonpodcast and Yavin Base to get setup every day and stream a game from every single round was second to none. Great job guys, I cant wait to watch the games back on YouTube! On a personal note we wanted to say thanks to @readygamer_one for being our personal tour guide of Chicago, we genuinely wouldnt have found our way around without him 🤣! And finally it would be remiss of us to close this out without saying a massive CONGRATULATIONS to Mr Olly Dier for winning the event and bringing the trophy back to Europe. Congrats mate, we're very proud of you 👍. In due course we will be piecing together and releasing a short Vlog of our time in Chicago so watch this space (however there is a small gap in recordings between us going to Chicago for the day and then the karaoke social 🤷♂️🍻🤣).
