This deposit includes digital transfers of avant-garde classics such as Water and Power (1989), Trouble in the Image (1996), and 7362 (1967), among others, as well as two video works that are new to the collection: Starting to Go Bad (2009) and Where The Chocolate Mountains (2015). This one was special. 9 day project car rescue build for our show #RUNSGOOD. Being a Rotary guy I was soo torn! We can only build what we find within this tiny production window/budget. I found this FC on marketplace. It had a 1JZ/R154 swap & immobilized ecu. AKA “gift from the heavens.” My buddy @1jzed had sold me on this combo back in 2014/15. Fast forward to now and this one popped up. Swooped it up with the quickness! This recipe imo, “defines” the stylistic approach to building/drifting a car that I’m passionate about. So I hope it inspires younger generations to build/drive stylish drift cars that are still budget friendly. What makes this engine/trans set up so good is that they come factory Turbo’d with an ecu that’ll compensate and add fuel with more boost. It’s seriously underrated. Factory loom, factory ecu, a manual boost controller…aftermarket FPR so you can give it a bit more fuel, an external AFR gauge to keep an eye on the ratio = DIY WICKED power. We put a Borg Warner I/G EFR7163 on it as well👌🏾.This chassis is IMO one of the most classic stylish platforms in Japanese auto Manufacturing. Mazda FC3S RX7 😍👌🏽. Slammed some @bae_olsen overs on it, a @battle_aero Wing and @superwowfactory livery, Classic Enkei #RPF1’s w/ @falkentire Rubber and she was set in the style Dept. The sleepy eye mod is a 1 hour DIY. I wanted this car to be a fully functional drift car, not just a slapped together shell that may look the part. We put basic @partsshopmax knuckles for angle, Z33 dual caliper hydro & coilovers front and rear. The car also features a full buttery electric power steering kit from @wolfmotorsportswire. For safety..it’s really important, and I cannot stress enough how important a legitimate cage is! WITH DOOR BARS! @cagekits IS the solution, and @ompracing FIA race seats and 6 point harnesses comfortably keeping us safe. I’m soo pumped how this car came out. With a build like this…you will HAVE to spend on your drive line. The 1jz/R154 is the expensive part. The labor is immense, and the cage will need to be welded by someone competent. But this is still an entry level build that you could safely go compete in. Stay tuned!! #NCDP

The higher ups at MT that pretty much gave me the freedom to make the show I want to make, and my amazing wife whom I have to leave for at times, multiple weeks within a month. This was my second favorite episode aside from the comanche. I love camping and off road stuff almost as much as I love drifting. This episode airs tonight in about 20 minutes. The idea of taking a vehicle that was never meant to do something isn't a new concept, but man it was liberating to bolt almost 2k lbs of shit to this car and have it just handle it. Way to build em @subaru_usa It was also very very satisfying to just bolt stuff to the body panels, and do some woodworking with making the drawer system. The level of creative freedom you get from having no attachment what so ever to a vehicle when building it is pretty amazing, even if it's decently low budget aside from stuff we got free. Big thank you to @smittybiltofficial for the legendary roof top tent, winch, and awning.
