The word “honored” doesn’t even begin to describe how I felt to be asked to photograph a fellow photographer’s Anniversary Portrait Session. Yes, I know, it was Janet. Yes, I know, we work together all. the. time. Does that make it less pressure? Hard No. Does that make me less nervous? Not reeeaaallly. Does it make me feel worthy as a photographer and a human? I originally photographed this beautiful family years ago when the girls were still little. Two years ago, I captured Melanie & Shane’s older daughter, Hayley, for her senior portraits. We had tried to organize the entire family to be there that day, but it just didn’t work with the family’s busy schedule.
