Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, Dr. Briana Brazile grew up celebrating both her North Carolinian and Panamanian roots. She graduated from the University of Virginia where she ran track and field and studied Spanish to continue learning about afro-latina heritage. Following graduation, she attended Barry University where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences. There, Dr. Brazile truly fell in love with dentistry and the multidisciplinary aspects that it has to offer. Meet Dr. Moorehead 🎉🎉🎉 Growing up in a military family, Dr. Moorehead traveled the world before settling in Charlotte, NC (with the furthest destination being Japan 😦!) Even as a little girl, she knew she wanted to be a dentist. Dr. Moorehead attended Norfolk State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics. She also had the opportunity to become a member of the Epsilon Theta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. — Dr. Moorehead’s passion is serving her patients. Dr. Moorehead has acquired a unique skill set of managing and treating immunocompromised and trauma patients at the hospital while also providing comprehensive care to cosmetically driven patients. She enjoys having the opportunity to address patients' needs, whether that be getting someone out of pain, a cosmetic concern, or helping someone stay healthy. Fun Fact: Dr. Moorehead enjoys spending time with her puppy dog Milo!
