The two PRS DGT guitars that are here right now. The top is a 2021 Wood Library with a roasted flame maple neck and a custom "platinum" top that the guys @ishguitars found for me. The lower is the SE DGT that was a demo loaner that I subsequently bought from PRS (the first and only time I've ever been moved to do that.) I've never loved the look of the PRS body shape, or headstock design for that matter, but it "just works" when playing, which wins out. The current "living room rig". I'd been playing the Strandberg Masvadalien Cosmo NX but I wanted to go back to working on learning the piece that @andytimmonsofficial played on @that_pedal_show which rather requires a neck pickup tone. So I pulled out the two PRS SE guitars that I'd grabbed for a video I have planned. Not a paid endorsement in any way, I'm just a fan of the ergonomics of these guitars over the original models that inspired them, a Les Paul and a Stratocaster. I know, I know, it's probably from the years when I only played PRS DGT guitars but these just fit me better than the originals and all the tones are there and then some. Running through this @official_line6 HX Stomp XL and Catalyst 60 which has become my go to rig. I am delighted to have David Grissom coming back on the live stream. PRS launched the DGT SE today and it's pretty exciting to see a guitar like this with a list price of less than a grand. PRS sent me a demo to check out, and I played it for about 24 hours before writing to them asking if I could buy the guitar. Not something I do often, but I'm thinking of doing more entry level content this year so this and a Silver Sky SE have been added here at the start of the year for that cause.
