They can mimic noises as well as parrots are known to. Ravens like play and use toys similar to dogs and otters. The use gestures to communicate. They can live up to 17 years in the wild and 40 in captivity. They live in gangs as teenagers until they mate for life. A flock of ravens is called an unkindness but they actually have shown signs of empathy, responding to certain birds they like for at least 3 years after seeing them. 🪶🐦⬛🖤

These are more pieces I made for #Phish . The blue fish necklace was the very first piece I ever made with some scrap upholstery leather that had been discontinued . My coworker suggested my boss give to me because he knew I “made things” and maybe I’d find use for it . That’s where it started and it all became a passion because i had nothing to wear to a Phish show that I could wear to work . The fishing lures were a cool idea but cutting the hooks that were attached was kinda deadly as they were made of metal that was a terror to cut and when I could finally get them to snap the pointy part would fly across the room . Who wants to find one of those accidentally lodged in a toe …. Poor fish . Those were cool but fishing lures have little beads inside the actual fish piece . They roll around to create a vibration to attract a catch , therefore earrings were not ideal especially at a show that you want to hear the music not rattling in your head . I have lots of dehooked lures if any insta folks need . The rest of the pieces are made from leather scraps and gold or silver with semi precious stones . The small fish necklaces sit just above the clavicle nicely . About a month ago I took Sage to his fifth Phish show at the Mann in Philly. I was a little nervous, as it was the first one I brought him to solo—but it was quite possibly the best one yet! Following his lead, we ran around together the entire first set. He swung from the railings, we ran down the (steep) teared hills, explored all the vendors, and interacted with so many fun people. The @manncenter is my favorite venue and thanks to Sage I got to explore it in a whole new way! He’s such a joy to share the things I love with and it never ceases to amaze me how receptive, adaptable, and easy going he is in different environments. - Anyways, the real reason I decided to make this post was to ask my Phellow Phish Chicks to zoom in and peep the doughnut rings I’m rocking!⭕️⭕️⭕️ It’s been a handful of years since I’ve made something Phish specific and it feels so good and exciting to have these to contribute to the scene. I picked up these red jasper donut stones years ago and finally made the time to bring this vision to life…PHINALLY! They’re entirely hand fabricated in sterling silver and each stone has it’s own personality, just like each of us, which I love:) The concave area under the stone is hollow, so they’re lighter than they look and I made a split shank band for each to support the size of the stone and provide extra stability. They work especially well as pointer/middle finger rings.💙⭕️💙 - It took me 30+ hours to make five of these and I’m selling them for $250. I’ve still got three unaccounted for and I’ll be at SPAC Friday and Saturday floating around lot with them.
