After I learned the basics of crochet, this is one of the first amigurumi I ever made. He measures 28” in length (71.1 cm). #amigurumay2024 Day 16: An Old Amigurumi. This one is VERY old. I'm not sure when I.made it (and I'm not quite sure what it is supposed to be...the tongue makes me think puppy?), but my guess is that it's 10-15 years old, back when I was just starting to attempt Amigurumi, but lacked the patience to use a small hook (or to make something bigger than my hand). I'm pretty sure I freehanded this pattern, and was very proud of the end result. Now, looking back at it, I'm so proud to think of how much I've improved over the last decade and a half! #amigurumay #oldamigurumi

I was going through my Old picture folders today and i found no good picture/quality and the way it's displayed. Even the crochet works are so so! Those were times I don't know how to click proper picture and i never know there's a thing called 'pattern' exist. AmiguruMay2024 - Day16 - An old amigurumi This is Karl. My very first amigurumi figure of my own design. I made it about 4 years ago for a friend's 4 year old son. I don't watch horror or zombie movies, so I had a bit of trouble with the design at first. Then I started looking for patterns online, but I couldn't find any that I liked, so I designed one for him. One of his legs is shaped like a bone, his brain spills out of his head and of course he's green to look as much like a zombie as possible. On request, his eyes can be pulled out and he has a button on his bottom. It was a bit of a puzzle how to make it, but I think the end result is cute. It's a real child compatible baby zombie. Karl was a big hit and the little boy really liked it. He has kept it to this day. I of course wrote down his pattern which can be found in my etsy shop. A friend of mine later liked this figure and asked for one too. At his request, I also got Karl's girlfriend Helga.
