The song is called Don’t Go Breaking My Heart but I’m heartbroken 💔 My Irish passed away. This song is featured on 702’s second album released in 1999. The song is about not wanting to lose someone you love... 702 is my favorite American girlband of all time and Irish was my favorite member. She was such a beautiful person inside and out and had a beautiful voice. When 702 reunited I was so excited and hoping to see her perform alongside her sister LeMisha and bandmate Meelah, But I didn’t get the chance to see her because there weren’t many shows near me. She passed away on Saturday and she was on my mind ALL day Friday and Saturday. I don’t know why I just kept thinking about her and hoping that she gets well soon so I can see her perform. And when I found out about her passing i was in complete disbelief and then devastated. People, do your best to see those you admire and care about while you can because you don’t know what the future holds. Tomorrow is not promised. Misha, I’m sending prayers of love and solace to you and your family during this time of sadness. I know when you lost Orish how difficult it was and now going through this again losing another sister. But know the twins are together again and as happy as can be where there is no pain and no sadness. Meelah I know she was like a sister to you also, having grown up together and being bandmates for years . My advice for you both is to just think about that her beautiful smile and personality of hers and remember all the fun times. She didn’t like seeing anyone upset. She was all about good times and laughing and she had so much positivity. And to her son, know that your mother was amazing. She was a member of one of the best selling R&B groups of the 90s and their contributions to music will always be remembered. Much love to you all. I’m heartbroken 💔 My Irish passed away this weekend. 702 is my favorite American girlband of all time and Irish was my favorite member. She was such a beautiful person inside and out and had a beautiful voice. When 702 reunited I was so excited and hoping to see her perform alongside her sister LeMisha and bandmate Meelah, But I didn’t get the chance to see her because there weren’t many shows near me. She passed away on Saturday and she was on my mind ALL day Friday and Saturday. I don’t know why I just kept thinking about her and hoping that she gets well soon so I can see her perform. And when I found out about her passing i was in complete disbelief and then devastated. People, do your best to see those you admire and care about while you can because you don’t know what the future holds. Tomorrow is not promised. Misha, I’m sending prayers of love and solace to you and your family during this time of sadness. I know when you lost Orish how difficult it was and now going through this again losing another sister. But know the twins are together again and as happy as can be where there is no pain and no sadness. Meelah I know she was like a sister to you also, having grown up together and being bandmates for years . My advice for you both is to just think about that her beautiful smile and personality of hers and remember all the fun times. She didn’t like seeing anyone upset. She was all about good times and laughing and she had so much positivity. And to her son, know that your mother was amazing. She was a member of one of the best selling R&B groups of the 90s and their contributions to music will always be remembered. Much love to you all. To the world, we lost an iconic 90’s superstar, but she is finally reunited with her twin sister Orish in a life of eternity 👑. Irish will forever be the “IT” girl.
