Special grid post for THE @marybensonlondon dress. This is the Catherine style, in the seventies butterfly print (my fave!) it’s a size 22. The print is amazing. The colours are lush and the entire dress is just such a stunner. The bodice is longer than their popular Zelda style, and in fact is a little too long for me and my non existent waist 😂 so I did hitch it up slightly for comfort and added a belt ofc. It’s also a bit boob squashing but I’m not wearing a bra here (just pads to smooth out the top) so theres bonuses to that as it’s certainly pushing them up 😂You can customise the dresses however you want, you can lengthen bodices, change sleeves, neckline, add a front zip for breastfeeding, change fabric, add pockets, add frills and much more by paying for extra customisation. Current lead time for a dress is 2 weeks and I definitely have got the bug now! Sewing room back in action. 🥳 Now with added hand sewing corner, that pulls out into a futon for spare bedroom purposes. Cushions @houseofhackney and @marybensonlondon, futon @futoncompany and doll and velvet patchwork quilt off eBay. The doll was originally meant to be #dollnadja for a Nadja from #whatwedointheshadows cosplay but when she turned up her dress was navy not black and she was so pretty I decided to keep her that way. In the next few weeks the big unicorn tapestry needlepoint from our old sitting room is going to go above this, when we get round to it.
