Reconnecting Marden Creek. Project 146 of 150, 2008, Marden Creek, Guelph, Ontario, Mann Pond Stream Bypass. Trout Unlimited Canada, our Speed Valley Chapter and the Wellington County Stewardship Council reconnected Marden Creek around a man made pond. Canada is celebrating its 150th birthday in 2017. In honor of this milestone achievement, Trout Unlimited Canada is celebrating 150 of our projects and programs. Project 66 of 150. 2010. Marden Creek, Guelph, Ontario, IJC Dam Removal project involving the removal of a large dam on Marden Creek and the re-natualization of the head pond to the creek. Removing the dam decreased water temperature, improved water flow, increased the diversity of plants, birds along with the return of native brook trout and riverine bugs.
