Sie werden ausschließlich von ausgebildeten Koloklisten(Glöcknern) von Hand geläutet, indem der Klöppel mittels einer Seilvorrichtung an den inneren Glockenrand gezogen wird. GröBere Glocken können mit Hilfe von Fußpedalen angeschlagen werden. Sollen mehrere Glocken gleichzeitig erklingen, wird die entsprechende Anzahl von Seilen gleichzeitig gezogen. Traditionell beginnt das russische Glockenspiel jeweils mit drei bedächtigen Schlägen auf die größte Glocke: im Namen des Vaters - des Sohnes - und des Heiligen Geistes. Die anschließende Geläut-Kombination ist eine Mischung aus tradierten und improvisierten Abfolgen. I went to a rendition of Mahler's 9th Symphony directed by Lorenzo Viotti and played by the Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra. To say it was mind blowing, way out of my usual comfort zone, is an understatement. What an incredible performance. Im Lohengrin in Amsterdam darf getanzt werden, da, wo sonst nur Musik ist, oder die Stimmen. Loy choreographiert den Lohengrin und dabei wird so wunderbar gesungen. Manuel Brug schreibt, ganz intellektuell hat Daniel Behle seine Stimme entwickelt und das stimmt. Der Mozartsänger, der tenorale Schmelz des Barocks, die Vielseitigkeit seiner Stimme, das alles fließt jetzt hier ein in seinen Lohengrin. Schön wird musiziert - sanft und berührend mit einem Deillusionseffekt - es ist alles brüchig, wie das versprochene Wort. Und man merkt, da steckt tatsächlich eine Idee dahinter und der Lorenzo Viotti ist also nicht nur ein Dressman, sondern ein intelligenter Showmaker. Was der Christof Loy für eine Konzeption hat, ist mir aber nicht ganz klar, kann alles sein, der Erlöser, der Heilsbringer. Es ist jener aus den eigenen Reihen, auf den eben alle schauen. Vielleicht interessiert sich Loy wirklich nur noch für Choreografie oder für einen Ballettmoment. Zwischendurch meint man, der Heerrufer, sehr gut Björn Bürger, sei eigentlich Elsas Bräutigam. Und Elsa selbst, sehr schön, Malin Byström, die Spröde, wird zum tülligen Schwan in ihrem Hochzeitskleid. Der Schwan, der Schwanensee. Es kann einfach nicht gut gehen, das weiß man, der Vogel ist schwierig. Toll wie immer, Martina Serafin, die Firmenchefin in spe, hat die Grandezza einer Führungskraft und ihr Telramund hervorragend, der im grauen Zwirn mit Drang nach mehr und starker Frau an seiner Seite. Ich mag den Thomas Johannes Mayer in dieser Rolle, auch wenn er da stimmlich schon leicht an seine Grenze kommt. Gut gefallen hat mir Anthony Robin Schneider, der einen recht noblen Heinrich sang. Der weite Weg nach Amsterdam hat sich gelohnt, es ist spät, als wir nach Haarlem zurückkommen. Mein lieber Schwan Lohengrin in Amsterdam Am Anfang in der Ouvertüre schauen wir in Gesichter, die Musik bewegt sie, wie uns. Emotionen ohne Worte. Klangschön schwebend wird dazu von Lorenzo Viotti und dem Netherland Philharmonic Orchestra musiziert. In einer großen Halle wohl eines Unternehmens findet der Zuschauer Elsas Geschichte mit dem Lohengrin. Das wird oft als Plot genutzt, Lohengrin als Gewerkschaftsboss - so einer wie der Lech Walensa vielleicht - eine Retterfigur für so alles mögliche. Der Mann von neben an, sympathisch, unaufgeregt, bodenständig. Das kennt also der Daniel Behle schon, war so ähnlich in Stuttgart, wo er auch den Lohengrin gesungen hat. Und Christoph Loy ist immer der Regisseur, der das menschlich Verortete im irdischen Dasein darstellen mag und dabei den Menschen gerne ins Gesicht sieht. Deshalb ist das eben keine Geschichte um einen Gralsritter von einer anderen Welt, sondern über einen Erwecker, der die schüchtern zurückhaltende Elsa erweckt. Erst durch ihn gewinnt sie die Farbe, was vielleicht auch Selbstbewusstsein heißen kann. Beide wirken, als ob sie einfach in die Situation gekommen sind und beide sind überrascht darüber, als er zaghaft fragt, liebst Du mich? Ich wundere mich ein jedesmal, dass der Mann einfach aus dem Nichts kommt und alles ist klar. Liebe auf den ersten Blick, das gibt es doch nicht, könnte man dann ziemlich neidisch sagen. Der Daniel Behle ist ein beeindruckender Lohengrin, sieht ein wenig aus wie der Heinz Rühmann, ist attraktiv und jugendlich mit einer so klaren Stimme ohne ein Flackern gleichbleibend, gross und sanft. Ein handfester Mann, vertrauenswürdig, das ist kein Hallodri. Und das Vertrauen von der Frau, die er rettet, manifestiert sich hier, wie das bis der Tod Euch scheidet. Von Anfang an ist klar, dass man von diesem Paar etwas erwartet.
