It is someone who helps actors with costume changes backstage when there is need for a quick change from one scene to the next. Dressers help actors look like they are dressed for Fall in one scene, and then seconds later dressed for a harsh Chicago Winter in the next scene! Theatre magic! This is Julia’s third performance at WRPC. Her first show being “Pride & Prejudice” (2024) where she was also briefly onstage as a servant! She has also appeared as Snoozer Dwarf / Ensemble in “Snow White and the Eight Dwarfs” (2023). Meet the Crew of Proof Scott Kristjanson - Producer Scott is excited to have his debut as a Producer with Proof at White Rock Players’ Club! Proof holds a special place in Scott’s heart, blending his passion for theater with his love for academia and mathematics. He's immensely grateful for the dedication of our incredibly talented cast and crew, led by the visionary director Lori Tych. Together, the cast and crew bring David Auburn’s extraordinary script to life, creating pure magic to the White Rock Stage at the Oceana Parc Playhouse. This marks Scott’s seventh production with the White Rock Players Club following roles in Snow White and the Eight Dwarfs, Best Divorce Ever, Robinson Crusoe, The Magic Flute, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, and Dead Man’s Cell Phone. He has also performed with The Royal Canadian Theatre Company in Surrey and Vintage Stock Theatre near Ottawa. Scott studied acting and improv at the Ottawa School of Speech and Drama as well as at The Drama Class in White Rock. Scott studied Mathematics at UBC and SFU. Behind the scenes she can be found building and painting sets, stagehand and dresser, asst and stage manager but mostly props.
