Handcrafted Kuih Lapis Nyonya. Kuih lapis Nyonya, also known as Nyonya kuih lapis or simply kuih lapis, originates from the Peranakan culture in Malaysia and Singapore. "Nyonya" refers to the female descendants of Chinese immigrants who settled in the Malay Archipelago and intermarried with local Malays. This delightful dessert is made by layering different colored batter made from glutinous rice flour, coconut milk, and sugar. Each layer is steamed until set before adding the next layer on top. The result is a beautiful, multi-colored cake with a soft, slightly chewy texture. As a child, I used to eat it layer by layer. The process of making kuih lapis Nyonya can be time-consuming due to the layering process, but the end result is definitely worth it. The intricate layers not only make it visually appealing but also add to the complexity of flavors. Setoran Senin pagi buat @thegaring.ig Tema "Aneka Kue Tradisional" __Lapis Sagu Pandan__ Bahan: - 600 ml santan (kental + encer) - 250 gr tapioka /sagu tani - 170 gr gula pasir - 30 gr tepung beras - 1 sdt garam - 3 sdm endapan pandan - 1/4 sdt pasta pandan (biar warna ijonya gak pucat, karena gak pake endapan daun suji) Cara: 1. Tuang semua bahan ke dalam wadah. Aduk dengan whisk sampai tepung dan gula larut & saring. 2. Panaskan kukusan sampai mendidih. 3. Siapkan loyang yang sudah diolesin minyak sayur. Saya pake loyang persegi 20×20cm 4. Tuang 2 sendok sayur adonan ke dalam loyang. 5. Kukus kurang lebih 4 - 5 menit 6. Angkat dan keluarkan dari loyang..kemudian gulung adonan dan biarkan dingin. 7. Lakukan seperti point 5 dan 6 sampai adonan habis. 8.
