This is my pressed flowers cardigan that I knit about a year ago and am only now posting photos of 😭 I used @jarbontextiles exmoor sock yarn in the colour Blooth for the MC and the CC's are @skipropeyarnco Pavlova mini set, I love the combination of pastels and tweed 😍 The only mod I remember doing is knitting the sleeves flat and then seaming them, so that the whole thing was knit flat and I didn't have to twist my brain into memorising the stitch pattern in the round for the sleeves. #

Finished my Carly Cardigan by @irenelin.knit. This was such a fun knit and I would highly recommend the pattern. Unfortunately I’m having regrets about my yarn choice. Knitted with Drops Merino Extra Fine held with Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk. Even with blocking and shaving, the alpaca sheds so much it almost makes this unwearable. Any tips for dealing with excessive shedding? I was so lucky to get to test this incredible cardigan from @sandmadeknits ✨ it’s the perfect drop shoulder cardi with the squishiest textured stitch and it is out today!! I learned so many new skills with this knit and to say I’m ecstatic about the finished result is an understatement! I wasn’t sure about seaming the sleeves, but it was so (!!) simple and Hannah’s instructions/videos are phenomenal. I’m working on a #GartinetteBabyCardigan by @agasalhosebugalhos for a friends teeny but mighty little one and I love how it’s working up. - Project Details: I’m knitting the Newborn Size/ 17” finished chest, on 3mm and 3.25mm to meet gauge, with minor modifications to sleeve and body length to make it fit the recipient for a bit longer - he’s got a skinny body but longer arms! - The MC yarn is @stylecraftyarns #StylecraftHighlandHeathersDK in ‘Bracken’ that I’ve got leftover from one of my adult size projects. Played yarn chicken on this one and won, but at what cost?? The pattern called for number of skeins, not exact yardage so this was a rough guess for how much I needed and worked with what I had as I wanted to stash bust. I cut approx 12+ rows from the body and 6 rows of ribbing to help save yarn and now she is CROPPED cropped and then I had a bit of extra yarn leftover 🤪 All that said, she is still sooo cute and pretty but tbh not sure how I will wear this one yet unless with this one dress because it is so cropped but stay tuned as I figure that out I think I will make another one but try to mod the pattern so it’s top down instead of bottom up?? and make sure I have extra yarn to spare lmao 🤪 #springforwardcardigan by @akashayna MC is from angel @thescrantonstitcher in Strawberry Milk 🍓🍓 CC is some scrap @cascadeyarns 220 superwash
