Tissue paper collage 🌈 . Our arts & crafts activities always come from the idea of making use our domestic waste or whatever useless stuffs we have at home. . This time, inspired by @thelittleartistsroom we used tracing paper (we are architect family so we have a lot of these) & beautiful tissue paper we got from @oskarswoodenark . I helped cutting the simple shapes & let Javas create whatever he wanted. He then cut them again & make collages according to his imagination: some sort of recycling water system 💦 and the houses one was a collab between me & Javas. DIY stained glass mobile 🟥🟧🟨🟩🟦🟪 We were really inspired by the beautiful artwork of @lumie.glass so we thought to make our version from trashes. I saw the techniques from the talented @sibster & finally had the chance to try it out. We really love how it turned out 🧡✨ . It’s been a while that I & Javas didn’t do crafts together so it was a sweet moment. At first Javas was quite hesitant to do the outline, - to be honest, it was no so easy to control bcos you feel how much to squeeze the glue -, he said “I’m not good at it mom” 🥹 but he still gave it a try and after a while he got the hang of it 👏🏻 . A little story behind the bunny craft, my late aunt found some dried skin of something while she walked around the neighborhood. She said ‘Ti, I found these. So pretty right? Simple puffy paint but make it festive! This is a super easy activity but very fun to do. If you have never tried puffy paint, you really should have a try! . 🍦 Cardboard for the base 🍦 Puffy paint for the ice cream. Puffy paint = shaving foam + white glue + food coloring 🍦 Whatever you have & you like for the toppings. Plastic waste sun catcher ☀️ . Since Javas is already back to offline school, we don’t really have time to do many crafts anymore. Only the simple one like this using small pieces non-biodegradable plastic from the ecobrick we made. .
