There’s a big misconception non Muslims have regarding the Quran, they believe that it is a book mainly a reminder for the Arabs but no, Allah revealed it for the entire mankind not only Meccans or Arabs. It was revealed in Arabic because the language is very rich. More than any other language in history. It has very systematic rules of Grammar and word formations. Having said that, a single statement can have many many messages embedded in it. Once you set in your mind the fact that nothing happens out of coincidence, but every experience, situation, circumstance you’re in is from Allah. Of course, we have the liberty of free will and we get to decide what experience we have. But do we though? After a wrong action you do, God makes you know that you’re not in control of your life as much as you think you are. People call it “You reap what you sow”, “universal law”, or “Karma”, sure; there may be a disparity in the labelling, but the negative consequences you face due to your actions is Allah’s way of telling you “The more you stray away from me, the more you wrong your soul”. That is the point you’ll realize you’ve unconsciously neglected hundreds of signs Allah shows you every day. That is the point you realize whatever sin you are doing does not affect Allah, the Self-Sufficient, but your own soul. When you’re walking by on a random street, and you hear someone complaining about “I should pray more often,”. It’s a sign to fix your prayers. When you see an old man crossing the road with a stick, and you think “will I really be able to live that long?”, that’s Allah’s way of telling you that death is inevitable, so turn to Him before you return to Him. There are countless signs from daily actions of scrolling through a random Instagram post in your feed, it’s not the algorithm that pushes the post to you based on your interests, its Allah. You open your phone, head to Instagram, enter the feed, and right in front of your face a post about Namaz (salah) appears, coincidentally, the call to prayer (Adhan) happens to begin as well. You may call it a “coincidence”, but do we really know better than Allah. Knowing your Lord is the most powerful thing you can do for yourself. Why? Knowing Allah is like having a constant source of comfort and guidance in life. Perhaps you have realized that a creator must exist, or perhaps you are new to researching Islam from the proper sources. Quran 5:116. On one hand, some point out that in a historical context, worship of Mary, mother of Jesus (a.s.) as part of the trinity was present in some Arabian Christian sects considered heretical by the mainstream, and so it’s not out of the question that they existed and may have been addressed during the time of Revelation. On the other hand, it’s often readily noted that the veneration of Mary, mother of Jesus (a.s.) in the more dominant Christian denominations across history exceeds the limits in terms of what is considered acceptable, and therefore constitutes a form of worship. (Shirk) To expand on the second point, remember that shirk, or the sin of associating partners with Allah (s.w.t.), is not just limited to conjuring up a false pantheon of supposed deities - it also extends to attributing power and dominion to creation, including the belief that certain saintly figures can be asked to impart worldly benefit or protection. It almost certainly includes the more prominent Christian epithets like ‘Mother of God’, na’udhubillah, regardless of how literally or esoterically the term is read. Because catholics, they do pray to her . Ave Maria is a common Prayer to Mother of God in Catholic belief. Did you know that we are the ones who chose to be tested? [Quran 33:72] hoping that we get the reward. Technically, if we were created in Jannah right away without having the option / free will to disobey Allah, we would be like the angels and we wouldnt understand what suffering nor pleasure mean. But now, having free will, if we pass the test -which satan is betting against- we will be -in a way- better than the angels and we will definitely appreciate the pleasures of Jannah. ‎إِنَّا عَرَضْنَا ٱلْأَمَانَةَ عَلَى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلْجِبَالِ فَأَبَيْنَ أَن يَحْمِلْنَهَا وَأَشْفَقْنَ مِنْهَا وَحَمَلَهَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ ظَلُومًۭا جَهُولًۭا ٧٢ Indeed, We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they ˹all˺ declined to bear it, being fearful of it. Wallahi you think you’ll live until an average lifespan of 70, 80, 90 years old, but the reality is you can die straight after reading this post, or during it, if Allah wills. Even if you cross 100+, death will come at you from all sides. Allah will order Malik Al Maut (The Angel of Death) to seize your soul, and Allah says you will feel like your entire lifespan was just an hour of the day. Look at how Allah says lost are those who denied their meeting with Him. If you’re a Muslim, and don’t offer a single prayer, fix it up ASAP, talk to Allah in Sujood that you have set the intention in your next prayer, it’s His task to make you a 5x praying Muslim. Don’t overburden your soul and think you have power or control over wherever you are. Allah has given us the free will only, and by that basis we go to Jannah or Jahannam. We are nothing but pieces of flesh roaming around, force your heart to start loving Allah, as your soul already has already recognized Allah, that’s why you should not be scared of death or Jahannam. Those are just barriers to your real home Jannah. Even Jannah is an extra gift from Allah, His mercy upon you is saving you from Jahannam, that’s the ultimate success. كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۖ فَمَن زُحْزِحَ عَنِ ٱلنَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ وَمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا مَتَـٰعُ ٱلْغُرُورِ Every soul will taste death. And you will only receive your full reward on the Day of Judgment. Give good news to those who patiently endure— Quran 2:155 ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَصَـٰبَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌۭ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ ١٥٦ who say, when struck by a disaster, “Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will ˹all˺ return.” — Quran 2:156 أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَٰتٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌۭ ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُهْتَدُونَ ١٥٧ They are the ones who will receive Allah’s blessings and mercy.
