This is my nail art for today. I started out with Holo Taco peely base and smoothing base. On my ring finger I did two coats of julep tazeen to try by itself, since I did not like it as a Topper the other day. On all my other fingers I did two coats of julep Jessie. Then just to confirm that tazeen is not a Topper, I did one coat on my thumb. I thought maybe putting it over a darker color, it might work better as a Topper, but it still is just too overpowering. My latest nails are inspired by the talented @nailing_painting. I have had this look saved for quite some time, but I thought I would finally recreate them since we’re starting to head into Summer. The original look had Lemon Sucker by @holotaco at the tip of the nail, but I decided to reverse the look a bit and put Hot Wire Pink on the nail tips instead. We wrap with the third and final polish that I picked up from the @holotaco holo royalty collection! I wanted a pink that was soft but still a nice pop of color and blush money seemed like the perfect shade. It is the exact saturation of color that I was looking for, but the glitter in it was a little underwhelming. It really doesn’t sparkle as much as I thought it would but boy oh boy is it a pain to remove. So this was a big miss for me. Saw this really cute pair of PJs on TV the other day with this sunny sky pattern, and decided I wanted to try putting it on my nails. Though I don't have inspiration photos here, know I did take some creative liberties and added the clouds for funsies haha ☁️ This might be the best mani I've done yet, simply because of everything that's going on with it. Normally I won't use toppers over a base creme because I don't trust myself enough to not make mistakes, but Bored Meeting was topped with Scattered Holo before I went in to do the rest of this mani. Might not seem too dramatic, but it's a big deal for me! I didn't have much room to make or correct mistakes. This mixed media (if you will) mani features scattered and linear holos, flakes, cremes and shimmers, and I really had to figure out where I was going to place all my different motifs on my skinny canvases. I can't believe how lovely and fun it turned out!!! Spring is the sunshine season imo since the days keep getting longer, so I was really excited to convey warmth and sunshine on my nails ☀️ Also, swipe to see my Other Hand™ Combo.
