But what if you choose to stay open hearted and allow pain to feel into you fully without you shutting down? Now, that is the massive game changer! What happens is that you realise that you are only a conduit of these highly intensified emotions such as pain and joy. And instead of attaching to any of these experiences you are just allowing them to wash and purify your mind, body and soul. And they start to merge with your being creating an even experience. They become one. Joy becomes pain, pain becomes joy! It’s all one experience. When we shut down, there is no flow and these intensities have no way of travelling and moving through us so we just end up feeling the density of pain and joy without ever feeling the lightness and transformation of pain and joy. And the beauty and power of pain and joy that we are honouring and welcoming into our experience. Stay open hearted, soft yet firm in the face of your deepest, darkest and most excruciating pain.
