here's my fluttershy redesign!! i have many reasons for the various decisions i made on this one. firstly, obviously, she is an alicorn. thought process behind this was perhaps celestia rewarded her for reforming discord, discord demanded she be turned into an alicorn so she could be with him forever without aging, or discord flat out did it himself (since he is chaitic and celestia probably wouldn't have taken this very kindly) her horn is a little bit shorter than the average alicorn (such as celestia, luna, and cadence. when i make my twilight redesign her horn would br a bit different before and after her transformation but since thats not out yet you get this as an example) and about the same size as an average unicorn, since i wouldn't figure her to be a "true alicorn" if it were discord who changed her, or celestia just obliged to discord's request. she can still use magic, but it isn't "alicorn magic" i guess. she can use her magic and get stronger as twilight and starlight did throughout their lives but as a base level her magic is like any other unicorn's. secondly, cutie mark change. i imagine her cutie mark could have gotten a bit more complicated after her transformation onto an alicorn (specifically the little details on it). but i wanted her cutie mark to be a little more inclusive of other animals since that's her whole thing. i wanted to keep the butterfly since it suits her so well and the colors worked well, but i also wanted to make sure i stuck to the 3 repeating design many have on their cutie mark but make it different to add more visual interest. obviously a representation of all land animals would have been a little too much so i just went with a few basics and called it at that. more explanation in the comments!! __ tags: #mlp #mylittlepony #mlpredesign #mylittleponyredesign #mlpfanart #mylittleponyfanart #fluttershy #fluttershyredesign #mlpart #mylittleponyfan #mlpfan #mlpartist #ponyart #ponyartist #fluttershymlp #mylittleponyfluttershy #fluttershymylittlepony #fluttershyart #fluttershyfanarthuman

explanation for pony rankings 4th -6th favorites: 4th - pinkie pie- alright but overly emotional and unpredictable and honestly not enough character development in her element pretty annoying in the yakaphone episode especially but pinkie is still pretty funny and interesting 5th- rainbow dash - rainbow and flutter i actually dislike rainbow because she’s so overhyped for being rainbow even though she looks so nasty compared to the other mane 6 (which i tried to fix in my design by excluding green from her mane) rainbow is just really mean and annoying and brags all the time (even joining her own fanclub) she says some funny things sometimes i appreciate but the one time i genuinely like rainbow dash was when she did the wonderbolt salute for scootaloo and her parents but rainbow is so dislikeable in general and only cares about herself and her accomplishments -6th - 😤😤😤fluttershy - i don’t typically hate shy characters because they can be relatable but fluttershy is so freaking annoying in the show constantly holding everypony back to be shy and she only cares when an animal is involved - like the firefly in power ponies and the raccoons in rarity’s shop - but even that would be kinda alright if it weren’t for the internet making her this goth flutterbat yass queen i hate it she’s just a loser who never leaves her house and pretends her social anxiety is worse than twilight’s when she can clearly rant and argue about animals; she never has any character development and is a boring character who gets in the way of the adventures for the animals or her to have a cry sesh about being too shy to do something • • • #pinkiepie #pinkie #fluttershy #rainbowdash #mlp #mlpfanart #mylittlepony #pinkiepieredesign #mlpredesign #fluttershyredesign #rainbowdashredesign #ihatefluttershy #scrunklykittyart

Soo here’s my take on a Fluttershy redesign + some headcanons 🙌 I made her mane & tail more messy/curlier & shorter! I think she would get more messy mane & tail since she’s outside so much, working with animals. Trust me (I’ve worked with cats and dogs, they’re messy and you’ll get dirty hehe 🫶) And I think she’d have it shorter cuz of it getting in the way and get very dirty Something that’s ALWAYS been missing ab her design to me are flowers!! She needs flowers in her mane 🌸🌷 & added a lil butterfly too And freckles! Also a must in my opinion. Makes her look so soft, which just suits her soo well! 🥰 Also added some extra markings in a lighter tone , just because I think it’s cute Bandaid on her leg 🩹, because I feel like she’d get a couple scratches from taking care of animals a lot! I wasn’t sure about what to do with her cutie mark though.. But whatcha think?
