Идеального набора пастэли не существ... Да, не существует. У каждого художника своя излюбленная палитра цветов, от которой он не отходит — разве что иногда (в пользу неожиданных даже для него самого оттенков). Поэтому производителям сложновато предугадать. Но как же хороша новинка от "Гаммы"! Именно набор "Основные серые" порадовал. Столько сложных, вкусных оттенков — ну просто песня (тот случай, когда серенада и колыбельная — это одно целое). Очень круто, что среди цветов а-ля "серая светлая", "серо-бежевая", "серая холодная" есть такие роскошные цвета, как "белая зеленоватая" и "лавандовая светлая". И удачным решением было добавить в эту подборку кирпично-красный. Куда без вишенки на торте?! А какое качество!... Любители рисовать экстра-мягкой пастелью будут в восторге. Very pleased to share that Citrona Farms, a commissioned work, has been accepted into the American Women Artists 2024 Annual Online Juried Show. It was such fun roaming the walnut orchards of Dan and Sarah Hdry in Winters, California, picking fruits and nuts to create this memorable piece for them. The tiny pitcher on top is Sarah's syrup pitcher from her childhood. They received the middle pitcher as a wedding gift. The antique walnut cracker is one of many of Dan's antique nut crackers. Что там Лана Дель Рей мурлыкала про гортензии в очередной своей песне, окаймленной светлой грустью?... «Blue hydrangea, cold cash divine, cashmere, cologne & white sunshine...» У меня, правда, гортензии совсем не синие. К слову, если высадить гортензии в кислую почву, то цветы могут изменить светлый оттенок на синий. Это как-то связано с поглощением алюминия — не помню. Не дочитал я статью, стоило дойти до двух безобразно противоречащих друг другу фактов: 1) В странах Азии цветок часто используют для приготовления разных напитков. 2) Цветы гортензий имеют яд, поэтому использовать их для приготовления блюд нельзя. То есть?! Жрать нельзя, а пить можно?! Вот это да! Обложки альбомов всегда представляли для меня немалый интерес — история создания, решение и, конечно, связь с музыкальным наполнением. Чего только не было: и максимальный минимализм от The Beatles (чей рекорд побил Канье Уэст с альбомом, вышедшим без обложки), и кроваво-красный "Anti" Рианны с шрифтом Брайля, и разноцветные горошины от Дэмьена Хёрста для третьего альбома 30 seconds to Mars... А чего стоит роскошное портретное ч/б фото для дебютной пластинки Даффи!... Отдельный интерес вызывали не только фотографы и художники, но и художественные материалы, на которые пал выбор по той или иной причине: ✓ Портрет Lorde, выполненный яркими масляными красками. Автор: Сэм Макиннисс. ✓ Две огромные скульптуры-головы, высотой с двухэтажный автобус для альбома Pink Floyd. Автор: Сторм Торгерсон (гениальный и творчески плодовитый). ✓ Акварель на обложках группы Genesis. ✓ Флуоресцентные чернила на обложке альбома Cream, которая представляет собой коллаж из фотографий участников и вырезок из красочных книжек. Автор: Мартин Шарп. ✓ 3D сканер, который накосячил, пытаясь сделать изображение для второго альбома Coldplay... ✓ Рисунок чёрной ручкой для Revolver "биттлов". Автор: Клаус Форман. У меня же опыта рисований обложек не было. Зато представилась возможность нарисовать портрет для обложки сингла. И чем было решено рисовать? Конечно же сухой пастелью. До сих пор удивительный (пока незаменимый) для меня материал. Исполнителя песни "Тварь" (не пугайтесь названия — песня на самом деле очень красивая и лиричная) я знаю как импульсивного человека с бешеной, иногда пугающей энергией. Эта энергия бьёт ключом по делу и без 😆Поэтому хотелось изобразить его другим — чутким, вдумчивым и спокойным. "Турар Рахимберлин" ✓ акриловый грунт ✓ пастэль, карандаши ✓ бумага
