This is dark brown hair color applied to very light blonde highlights. She wanted an ashier brown but I had to let her know when you cover blonde with brown you run a high risk of turning green. I did my best to formulate the hair color so she wouldn’t be too warm and we definitely didn’t want green! Because she may decide to do highlights at some point again, I discussed doing a demi-permanent color and she loved the idea. I did a natural ash brown to blend the over grown root to create a nice transition after I pulled the golden dark brown through her blonder ends. Her natural root color is a level 5 and the color matched perfectly. She was of high school age, so she didn’t need any gray coverage. And all of the shine in her hair is due to her not using any heat on her hair. She also has access to great hair care products at home. There wasn’t a haircut with her appointment today. Needless to say, after she was blown out, she was shocked by how much she loved the color. 🤩 Now that’s a Blowout! 🤩 It has all the right ingredients for a perfect blowout. Smoothness, rounded curled ends, and controlled fullness. Good news is that blow drying is less damaging than a heated straightening tool. Your hair will heat up with the blow dryer but will never come into major contact with hot metal. If you’ve been to @giventoflypgh 🐓 you would know they have some of the best chicken sandwiches in all of Pgh I loved the Plain Jane because I’m obsessed with pickles, Shane got the Nashville Hot, and our friend Vince got the KBBQ which was absolutely fire They also have a bunch of sides like waffle fries, mac salad, & potato salad People who know me well also know that the crowds and seating at the Federal Galley overwhelm me immensely😅 I would suggest getting takeout here tbh because we’ve come on weekends and it’s so hard to find a spot to sit

Before and after! I used one hair product in her hair when I did this blow out. 😊 Sometimes, less is more. I used the Morphosis Energizing Spray on her scalp and you can see how it did end up giving her some volume at the root. It goes on feeling like water and leaves the scalp feeling cool and energized by the menthol effect it brings, all while leaving the hair soft and shiny. It’s a great product if you don’t like having the feeling of heavy products in your hair but want to stimulate the follicles for hair growth and add some volume. It’s also a great scalp and hair product because it won’t dry out the hair as it treats the scalp.
