I'm being quite neglectful of cosplay stuff atm, as I'm moving house in the next month, and my craft room is all boxed up, however that said I will attempt to do some work on some lowkey cosplays like this one. Because more Fallout cosplays are needed! I did make a different version of this last year, however I don't like the fabric of the dress so have picked up a new base dress from Vinted in satin giving it a more luxurious feel, all I need to do, is modify the neckline, add lace and change the straps. Had a last minute cosplay plan today at Commandfest! Met a fellow Vault dweller; Cayce nailed it with her Vault suit! Met my favourite Magic Artist Magali Villenueve and had her sign all my collections cards that she has designed. Had an absolutley amazing weekend played 3 drafts including Lord of the Rings again. It’s available on Game Pass, and I figured since I haven’t had the time to really sit down with any new games, I’d just play a little bit of 76 here and there! It’s definitely not the best game in the world, but it’s an easy one to pick up for about 15 minutes at a time! ▸ I’m hoping that my baby goes down for bed tonight easily, because I’ll actually have a chance to play Starfield! My boyfriend doesn’t work tonight, so he can be downstairs with her while she sleeps. I’m a little too anxious to go upstairs to the gaming room when she’s asleep, even with the monitor. Hoy, en “Historias absurdas del Yermo”, tenemos el capítulo “¿Por qué la gente se pone en los cruces de las cuevas en Estruendo Radiactivo????” Existe una acción en todos los juegos que se llama respaneo (respawn). Os voy a explicar cómo funciona, porque creo que el 99% de la gente no se entera 🤦🏻♀️ Los enemigos tienen un punto de aparición, porque ellos no viven allí, sino que el programa los genera, y de ese puntito van saliendo hordas y hordas. Excepto cuando alguien se pone ahí. Entonces dejan de aparecer. Es así de simple. Fasnacht. Uno de los eventos más queridos y más odiados de Fallout 76. Mi primer Fasnacht fue en nivel 34, en 2019. Era cada media hora, solo duraba una semana y coincidió con fin de semana de experiencia doble. Subí un montón de niveles, me divertí y conseguí varias máscaras (aunque ninguna buena). Pero lo recordé y hablé de él durante un año ♥️ Tiene a su favor que aún tiene recompensas difíciles de conseguir. Y eso hace que aún sea interesante. ¿En contra? Pues la musiquita machacona, las 1567 boinas de media que se consiguen y bueno, los pantallazos al cambiar de server y los jugadores que se quedan en AFK o llegan justo al final. Y por supuesto, que este año las máscaras nuevas son de la tienda atómica (ya sabéis, cosas de Bethesda) 🤷🏻♀️ Si un día estás jugando y quieres parar a cenar, entiendo que te quedes AFK, pero estos días estoy viendo jugadores durante horas tocando un instrumento, dando vueltas como peonzas o escondidos en CAMPs subterráneos. Bueno, y la pregunta es: si todos hiciéramos lo mismo ¿quién sacaría el evento adelante? Esta semana he hecho unos cuantos, ya os lo digo, con más de 10 personas en el evento y sólo yo haciéndolo. Fastnacht, al igual que todos los demás eventos, es COOPERATIVO, damas y caballeros. Yo lo he hecho en medio de una nuke, o con amigos o sola, pero nunca en AFK. Supongo que cada uno tenemos nuestra forma de jugar. Esta es la mía. Y ya tengo 2589 boinas. ¿Cómo se ha celebrado San Valentín otros años? Pues aunque no lo parezca, este día es tan solo la segunda vez que se festeja en Appalachia. Este año nos han regalado un traje francamente espantoso y ridículo, con el cual hacer una serie de eventos. El primero de los cuales es prácticamente imposible (sí, hay una forma). En fin, cosas de Bethesda 🤷🏻♀️ Hace unos años fue más divertido, nos regalaron una skin de ramo de rosas para la llave grifa y había que matar calcinados con ella. El traje de regalo tampoco es que fuera ni bonito ni nada y mucho menos tenia nada que ver con el amor y eso. Tan sólo era una camiseta negra con bermudas caqui y sandalias. En fin, cosas de Bethesda 🤷🏻♀️ Al menos nos quedamos con aquella skin y podemos hacer unas fotos bien chulas para estas fechas 💐 Y este año nos regalan un jarrón de rosas si conseguimos hacer 5 de 7 desafíos diarios. En los inicios de Fallout 76 no existían los equipos públicos. Era así. Si querías ir con alguien en equipo, debías mandarle solicitud. Pero en cualquier caso, eso no proporcionaba ningún beneficio, exceptuando el poder hacer viaje rápido sobre ellos. No había bonificación de experiencia. Si no les dabas al menos un golpe a los enemigos, cuando un compañero acababa con ellos, no recibías recompensa. Además, los enemigos tenían siempre el mismo nivel, no se acomodaban al de cada jugador. Así pues, si querías farmear experiencia, ir a Flatwoods no tenía mucho sentido. Hoy en día, un jugador nivel 5 se incorpora a tu equipo y en un evento de jefe puede subir unos cuantos niveles sin esforzarse mucho. De ahí ese comentario que tanto me molesta: “pues vaya rollo de juego, es muy fácil” 😥 No os habéis ganado vuestros niveles como lo hicimos nosotros. Ahora es fácil porque nosotros estuvimos ahí y nos lo trabajamos. Vuestro camino es fácil porque nosotros lo allanamos. Sé que no todo el mundo es así, pero es lo único que me encuentro últimamente y me da pena que no lleguen a apreciar la experiencia de juego 😥 ¿Me contáis cómo vivisteis vuestros primeros niveles? Queridos habitantes del Yermo, tras unos días de oir y ver opiniones acerca de los últimos acontecimientos, siento la necesidad de hablar y compartir con vosotros mis sentimientos. Soy jugadora desde la B.E.T.A, y tengo montones de experiencias que contar. Pasamos de ser moradores del Refugio 76 a habitantes del Yermo en las tierras de Appalachia. Abandoné la seguridad del Refugio, siguiendo los pasos de nuestra Supervisora, la cual fue dejando holocintas para guiarnos en nuestros primeros pasos. Salí con temor, sabiendo que si encontraba una persona, sería una persona real, porque en el juego original que se lanzó en 2018, los npc eran todos robots o criaturas. Yo venía de Fallout 4 y no concebía un Yermo con gente real. Había jugado MMORPGs en contadas ocasiones y no me gustaba mucho la idea. Con el tiempo, me di cuenta de que había misiones que no podían hacerse si no cooperabas con otros jugadores. Y comencé a sentirme sola. I’m not trick or treating tonight, instead, I’ll happily be in bed, probably watching some scary movies! ▸ For today’s post, I dug out my Vault Dweller costume from 2017, and decided that this was the perfect opportunity to show you the coolest item in my collection! My Nuka Cola Power Armor Helmet! At some point, I’d like to show it off better, but for now, I think this is a pretty cool post! ▸ I’ve had my Power Armor Helmet for awhile now, since around 2019 I think! My boyfriend randomly handed me $100, said “buy whatever you want” and this is what we took home! 😂 I was actually a little nervous about spending the money, I kept saying “are you sure I can buy something?” “Is this okay?” “It’s your choice, we don’t have to buy it!” 😂 I was quite nervous, but then very very thankful when we got to bring it home! It was actually on sale that day, we got it for around $80, which was about $20 less than its original price! ▸ It did come with extra goodies, that I’ll showcase at some other time, a Thirst Zapper keychain, a pin and a poster! Unfortunately, I don’t have a proper place to display the helmet! It’s pretty big, so it won’t fit on any of my shelves! So for the past like 3-4 years, it’s sat in the box, on my bedroom floor.
