#graduationday is TODAY... say what??!!! Que the tears - tears of joy for this kiddo, but also tears of “hang on a second, where did my baby go 🤪😭🥳”... I’m sure it’s a mom thing, but oh my. I’m going to slowly release his senior pictures (if I can hold back that long, lol) over today and tomorrow. So anyways.... about this graduate of mine... He loves the city vibe, and he’s very artistic. He’s super smart and technologically advanced. Two week old little man Roman was cute as can be, and super sweet looking in sage green. Lola was absolutely precious and adorable in the tulips yesterday evening. How sweet is she?! Even though she’s opposed to pictures lately, so I’m told, she loved all the extra attention and we turned it into a game, so Lola was ready to play, and gave up some super cute smiles! Lola: 2 years old 🌷 If you’ve been debating booking a tulip mini this year, let this be your sign to go book it right now!!! We have 2 session openings for Friday evening (April 5th) and 2 openings for this Saturday evening. After this weekend, the tulips will be gone. Sessions currently start at $135. Volunteers will soon be pulling the tulips out to re-plant, so once they are gone, they are gone until spring 2025. Right now there are several areas of color to choose from. Sometimes newborns don’t sleep through their whole sessions and will wake up for a bit, or possibly even nearly all of the session. Each baby is different. When this happens, we either try to get baby back to sleep right away (which depends on the poses we are trying to achieve, and how long they had already been asleep) OR we try for some awake images. Babies that are sleeping very lightly, often take longer through posing, as they can be fussy off and on through the lighter sleep, so we try to leave plenty of time for posing and also to allow for baby to be awake for brief periods if needed. Little Gabriella was the perfect mix of asleep and awake, though she was still very sleepy. I can’t believe I forgot to add this post to this platform a few months back. I have absolutely loved watching this sweet baby girl grow, over the past year. I got to see her from the time she was a baby bump in her mama’s tummy, then when she was only days old, and then again at 6 months (and already sitting up so well) and finally at 1 year (and standing like a big girl). Brianna is such a little joy, with the perfect amount of sass in her personality! I don’t get to use lavender very often, but when I do 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜, it gets all the hearts. I was so excited that she let me put her on the little bed without being wrapped up - lately all the babies want to be wrapped when on the bed. I love seeing her little legs and adorable toes, plus this outfit was perfect for her. I can’t decide if I like the bonnet better or the headband better on her, but she’s adorable in both. Photographer gets to choose props and colors for this session since it is a model session - I’ve got some nice new backdrops as well as some very trendy new bucket props and posers, which is why I’m offering this opportunity. Baby must be under 11 days old for this model session. Session is for Wednesday, March 20 - so we are looking for a baby born (or due) this week. Message ASAP for more details.
