WITHLESS - Grow surfaces At the restaurant, when water is left and not consumed by a customer often it’s not reused. At home, it can be reused easily. (watering plants... etc). Depending on the restaurant capacity, It’s a lot of water. We estimate it around average 500 liters per month of wasted water that we could reuse in a circular way for both restaurants and clients. The aim of this project is to imagine a grow solution for food industry by raising awareness with growing surfaces designed to demonstrate that we can reduce our water wastage by reusing this resource in a fun, more efficient and sustainable way and moreover, include them in this process to make them part of the food grow experience Only the piece around the textile has to be adapted depending on the herb water need (darker mean bigger water need, lighter less.) Then the textile make the magic, reacting to humidity it changes it’s color, if the color of the ring and the textile are the same, the plant grow with good conditions, if there is a contrast, something has to be adapted ! Some live figure drawing studies, like doing regular exercises to stay in shape. Also wanted to go back to the fundamentals and draw for drawings sake, not for commercial or corporate profits for a client. The drawings are not perfect, the proportions, values, etc are not photo realistic accuracy, and the individual marks are not perfect. Compare to our other professional work where every single line, detail, surface and tiny highlight is meant to be perfect - was a learning process to let go and think it’s fine if the drawings aren’t perfect, these are just exercises. Trying to reconnect with the artistic side of making art. 60-70 hours per week are spent making art for profits, trying to maximize value to consumers while cutting costs for clients. Hard to remember sometimes that making art has a personal expression side, learn to let go of all the materialism, that inner voice that is worried about external criticism. Not every piece has to be about trying to impress the client, get interview, beat the competition, flashy sketch to make consumer feel excited emotionally to make irrational purchase, sell, sell, sell to be chosen by other people. . (Project of 2021) This product is designed to prevent the head from falling forward and to fix the chin to maintain proper posture. It features a curved clavicle cushion designed to minimize irritation when in contact with the skin, taking into account the chin and clavicle line. Additionally, it can be adjusted for angle and size, making it convenient for individuals of different body types, whether large or slender, and its lightweight design makes it easy to use and carry. Recognized for its ergonomic design and convenience, it has been selected as an excellent industrial design by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion. 이 제품은 고개가 앞으로 빠지지 않도록 방지하고 턱을 고정하여 바른 자세를 유지하는 제품입니다. 턱과 쇄골 라인을 고려하여 만들어진 곡선형 쇄골 쿠션이 장착되어 피부와의 접촉 시 자극을 최소화하도록 디자인되었습니다. 또한 각도와 사이즈를 조절할 수 있어 체격이 크거나 마른 사람들도 편리하게 착용할 수 있으며, 가벼운 무게로 사용이나 휴대도 용이합니다. 이러한 인체 공학적 디자인과 편의성으로 한국 디자인 진흥원 우수 산업 디자인에 선정되었습니다.
