A moment I won’t forget at the last Dark Horse Deliverance School. The depths of my heart cried out to God and said, WE JUST WANT YOU GOD! The room began to weep with me for our love for Him. Screams of anger and deep pain filled the room this weekend. It was heart wrenching to listen to but at the same time relieving to know they would carry that pain no more. A realm of glory filled the room as Holy Spirit began to lift off trauma and demons from those who were oppressed. We could scarcely keep up as He moved in fire and power to deliver His people. Rachel, my CLI sister who teaches on deliverance and trauma healing with me, and I are blown away as we just heard from the pastor that they continued all night in deliverance after we left for home. One thing I have witnessed of the Lord, and that is His zeal and passion to set His kids free and I am honored to walk with Him and my sisters as He does. "I wanted to come to the Dark Horse Deliverance School so I could understand how to help others in my life to find freedom. What I didn’t know was that Holy Spirit was going to show up in my heart to bring so much healing and freedom. I was skeptical and hesitant at first and didn’t think that I needed any deliverance. I was so wrong. Saturday night, Tamara (CLI team member) gave her testimony and it was such a good word to, “Fight for your freedom with the Holy Spirit." I did keep feeling that I was suppose to go up for prayer but I kept talking myself out of it. As the Holy Spirit was ministering in the room, Rachel (CLI team member) started praying for me. Don’t ever give up! She had a dream one night of me praying for her and getting deliverance. She had told me as I was signing books before the school started. I knew God would do it, the only question was, when would be the moment. Holy Spirit is the one who directs and instigates deliverance so I kept my eye on her with anticipation. Nothing happened until the final moments after we had closed the last night and almost everyone had left. But she was still there kneeled on the floor on the side of the room. I looked at her and I saw the Holy Spirit begin to move as her body started shaking. I knew this was it. I made my way across the room, placed my hands on her head, and for the next few minutes, deep trauma, pain, and anger began to leave her body. “Last night, after most of the people left (Dark Horse Deliverance School) we decided to come back to see if we could find some of you (the CLI team) to say thank you in person. We saw Bethany and we went to her to tell her thank you. She was so gracious to speak with us (we knew all you guys were probably exhausted) and she offered to bless my wife while I stood by. It was probably 10:45 pm but she didn't just bless her she ministered to her instead helping her deal with some childhood trauma. It wasn't our intent to have anyone minister to us at that point, since it was so late, but that's what ended up happening. ❤️She probably spent 45 minutes with my wife and then she asked to bless me as well and spent probably another 40 minutes healing my shoulder. Needless to say, we were both blown away with her. I'm still in amazement at her level of dedication to doing God's will regardless of her own needs. One more thing I wanted to mention was when she was ministering to Karen, I looked at Bethany's face and if I could draw a picture of what love looked like it would be Bethany's face while she ministered to Karen. You talk about how LOVE is what chases demons away and how you use love in your ministry and I literally "saw" it in her face. There are some things you see in life that you never forget and for me the love in and on your sister's face will never leave me. It was such a blessing and a gift to experience. I spent hours casting out demons right here in the back of the room at the last deliverance school. No one knew because I would not allow them to get loud. They said many awful things to me but their mission to get me to back off always fails. They also tried to twist her head into the chair but I told them to stop before they could injure her. Demons want to steal, kill, and destroy, so they will try to injure people badly on their way out or even worse if they can. I take authority and they cannot do a thing. They must leave. And they did, while the dignity of this sweet woman remains intact. Deliverance is not a game. This is real and people matter and how we handle them matters. They will remember how you took them through deliverance. They will remember how they felt. My biggest hope is that they remember how I loved them and comforted them through it all.
