My latest offering, BP7 CMOS bass preamp. Drew D from Hughesy suggested this beast, its inspired by the black B7 thingy. Its more than a DI/preamp and if you're a 6 string guitarist, this dooms very well. But back to bass, i dislike the Blend & Volume controls so many manufacturers use, as i think they are too awkward to "dial in", so i use independent Dry & Wet volumes. i have a bass contour switch, drive control & 3 band amp style passive "cut eq" to dial in your tone. A built-in DI with ground lift (the DI & the 1/4" out both follow the bypass switch). This can go from clean to insane levels of dirt, its easy to adjust it for a warm tube amp tone, all the way up to insanity.... There are 3 separate clipping sections in this beast & whereas the B7 thing has 1 cmos section, i use 2 different cmos chips.... Drew tried out the first unit & he liked it so much he didnt want to let go of it, so it stayed with him.
