😷NETTOYEURS POST-TRAUMATIQUES😷 🎥Dans mon dernier post je te parlais du drama Move to heaven. Il met en lumière un métier relativement peu connu, celui des nettoyeurs post-traumatiques. 📕Le drama a d'ailleurs été inspiré par le témoignage de l'un d'entre eux, publié sous le titre "Things left behind". Kim Sae-Byul, un des premiers nettoyeurs post-traumatiques de Corée, y aborde le lien particulier qui le lie aux défunts. Un joven meticuloso con Asperger y su tío problemático se hacen cargo del negocio familiar, una empresa llamada "Mudanzas al Cielo", que se dedica a hacer limpiezas traumáticas: ordenan las pertenencias de las personas recientemente fallecidas para entregárselas a sus seres queridos. Hace un tiempo la terminé de ver y todavía sigo procesando la historia, una emotiva adaptación del ensayo de Kim Sae-byul titulado "Things Left Behind" 📚 En el blog (link en mi bio) explico más detalladamente el trasfondo de esta serie de @netflix que me emocionó en cada capítulo y me dejó reflexionando. Su libro fue muy bien recibido en Corea y hasta tuvo un reconocimiento por el Ministerio de Deportes, Cultura y Turismo. ☁️ En 2019 se comenzó con la adaptación a serie para Netflix, en donde estuvo involucrado Kim Sae-Byul y el propio director, Kim Sung-ho. Death and grief are at the core of this unique #Kdrama, #MoveToHeaven, making this all the more relevant today. Inspired by trauma cleaner #KimSaeByul's non-fiction essay #ThingsLeftBehind, the 10-episode series introduces viewers to the unique job of trauma cleaning, told from the honest perspective of 20-year-old Geu-ru (portrayed by #TangJunSang) who has Asperger's Syndrome. He and his father run the trauma cleaning company they aptly called Move to Heaven, with cleaning the spaces of the deceased and clearing out their belongings symbolically serving as the final move that marks their ascend to heaven. A closure. The deceased's years on earth are suddenly compressed into this bright yellow box, containing some of their most precious items. With Geu-ru's Sherlock-esque skills, he puts the pieces of the puzzle together and deduces the heartbreaking stories and unspoken messages of the deceased. Geu-ru's uncle Sang-gu (who's involved in underground MMA, portrayed by my fave #LeeJeHoon) and his friend/neighbor Na-mu (played by #HongSeungHee) later joins him in trauma cleaning. I loved the diversity of the stories per episode, with some even touching on social issues. The depiction of solitary deaths was particularly emotional for me; death is tragic in itself but the thought of dying alone is worse. The sets were so realistic they made the narratives more compelling. I also liked the chemistry of the three main characters, as they balance the melodramatic tones with their banters. The character arcs of Geu-ru and Sang-gu, considering their traumatic childhood, were especially satisfying. #TangJunSang, #LeeJeHoon, and #HongSeungHee are perfect for their characters. Plus, notable special appearances of #JiJinHee, #LeeJaeWook, and #Sooyoung! Oh, and the Sampoong Department Store collpase integrated seamlessly into the story just made me cry 💔😭 Move to Heaven is a must-watch. Prepare for emotional wreckage!
