Announced last year, arrived recently, thank you so much @blackprimetoys for providing this figure. Just my simple review of Toy Mage's (NOT) MP-43 BeastWars #Megatron a.k.a Beast Megatron in BEAST MODE. I gotta be honest, it's a complex transformation to the point that i downloaded Ben's KOllectibles review in Youtube, crop it, & make a reverse version to change it back to robot. Anyway, his posabilities in Beast Mode is quite good, but you have to carefully balanced him to prevent toppling. On my copy, the jaws can't completely close (be very careful with the teeth, those are sharp). I dunno if this happened to my copy only, or because it's a KO. Well, what do you expect? Do note that the blast effect in this second rerun is brittle, so PLEASE shave the peg to the dino head a little bit with sandpaper, & carefully attach it but not too deep (that's what she said). Remember that backpack problem in robot mode? That is the main issue for this beast mode, because it won't fit-closed completely. Kibbletopia. Most of the time i spend before i took photos in Beast Mode is to compress his kibble shells in place so it won't look bad in beast mode. You might not notice it, but he looks kinda wonky if you look from his right side. That's why most of the photos is from the left side. Susrprisingly, he is in-scale with BotBots Quackles! And lucky for me, i already have that rubber ducky since few years ago. Also, speaking of duck, it reminds me of Peking Duck, and this figure also has the Chinese dialogue version, which can be set by pressing the button on the dino head for a few seconds. But of course i kept the David Kaye voice on. ❤️ And obviously, this is a very good addition to your shelf, ESPECIALLY if you're a Beast Wars fan, or David Kaye fan, or Megatron fan, or even a dinosaur fan! If you had the chance to get it, do it ASAP before you missed this figure again. I tought this is the second batch of a reissue, HOWEVER now i know why it's quite "affordable": You don't get the white box, three clear parts for hip supporter is not included, and the blast effect doesn't have the LED light gimmick (source: Ben's KOllectibles in Youtube). Anyway, the painting on this figure is awesome, but the sculpt is not quite as good i expected it to be. The backpack part in the robot mode doesn't really connect to each other to form one solid piece, which also affect the beast mode (i'll talk about it in next post). But the rest of it is solid as hell. When i opened him from the box for the first time, his faceplate is the stoic face, then i swap it to his goofy smirk face, but i decide to use the angry growling face. Other accessories that included are his hunting rifle from the 'Call of The Wild' episode, and... His toothbrush. 🤣 Also, the voice gimmick: Toy Mage kept the David Kaye voice, which is very awesome. ❤️ Of course, batteries are not included (4 x LR 44). Short review of Buluke / Blokees #OptimusPrimal (of #Transformers Rise of The Beasts). This #ModelKit (yes, a MODEL KIT) is quite small (around scout class / smaller than deluxe class), & of course not transformable. But what makes this #Plamo figure fun to play with is his cool gimmicks: LED for the eyes & in the mouth, interchangeable hand parts, & quite poseable arms. Aside from gimmicks, he also includes two standbase, which can be connected each other and/or with other standbase of Blokees kits. There are sticker sheets for the standbase & i used them all, along with two clear effect parts (dash effect? Slam effect?). Unfortunately, his joints on the chest, legs, & head / neck part (sans opening mouth) are quite limited. I was expecting he'll have knee joints, but it doesn't exists. Also, the LED is too sensitive. For the plastic material, it's a bit sturdier than Bandai's Gundam, more akin of Figure Rise Standard? But it is quite lightweight. Overall, this #PlasticModel action figure is cool! I wish Yolopark create an affordable beast mode Primal, so it'll be bigger & more fun to pose. If you were looking for a transformable figure, i don't recommend this (except if you bought the Bot Mode Primal too). After i preordered this on 2023, i finally have an upgrade kit for my Gorilla Leader -Commander of Justice- a.k.a (NOT) #OptimusPrimal figure! The upgrade kits consist of (NOT) Optimus Primal's Beast Mode head, Robot Head, two optional face part, & two swords which has silver paintjob. Some fans of Optimus Primal would've noticed the "wrong paintjob" on one of the face part; it supposed to have silver mouthframe with blue face and lips. The color has been used intentionally to prevent copyright strike, & that's why i used the mouthplate face part for now. The Beast Mode head is AMAZING; it has articulated jaw hinge, and paintjob in the mouth for the "tongue"! It's very cool! Bingotoys Spiderlady (aka not Blackarachnia), a pretty good transformable action figure in my opinion. She come with a lot of accessories: 8 hands type, 2 head crowns, 4 faceplates + additional 4 golden faceplates, 1 rifle, 2 daggers, 8 spider legs, and spider butt that can become a shield..... Amazing. Articulation is pretty good and poseable, she has a good degree of abs crunch, which for me is pretty crucial in doing some action pose. My honest review on #ThirdPartyTransformers "G0RILLA LEADER -Commander of Justice'" a.k.a NOT #OptimusPrimal (created by Li Jiang Bian Xing). Honestly i'm quite surprised that this figure even exist. Because, as you can see, it gives off a "bootleg/knockoff-ish" vibe. Don't be fooled tho, this is an ORIGINAL design with a smidge of Generation Toys's GT-10 mixed in it. And this "knockoff" designs shows up in Toronto-con few weeks ago, which bootleg/knockoff manufacturer won't do it. After i opened the packaging, the sculpting & the paint job on this figure is quite cool! He's a big ape, standing tall at almost 23cm. The weird thing is his accessories are one sword & a rifle (wait wut?). Unfortunately, there are no weapon storage. His possibility is quite great, but the ankle joint is a little bit too loose for my taste. He has a lot of swivle & hinge joints for posability, but the ape head only on a hinge joint, his robot neck swivle is hindered by the "collar", & the waist swivle is kinda hindered by the buttflap (which is important for the transformation). But you can carefully pull the buttflap part off of his butt & rotate it 180° so it looks more elegant in robot mode. Which reminds me, you can actually make a "third mode" by simply transform him into his bot mode, but leave the Gorilla headpart on. Now, do i recommend this figure to you? Well~... Yes and no. I said 'No', only IF you're looking for better Optimus Primal, especially with the hollow upper arms. But if you're a fan of Optimus Primal, i recommend it, especially because this figure is quite cheap (IDR 160000 in Indonesia). And if your kids like to play Transformers, and they like Optimus Primal, this is the figure that you WILL need to protect your high-end figures IYKWIM. Review(s) of spider duo of #Transformers #BeastWars #Cartoon series! Blackarachnia's a fiddly figure, especially her transformation from robot mode to beast mode. There are two problem in this figure: the spider beast mode is not as solid as i thought she would be, & the tab in the waist area for the transformation is a wee bit tight. Prolly because i got the first batch, this problem was fixed by #Hasbro / #TakaraTomy afterwards. A lot of fans pointed out how ridiculous her spider mode is, but this is something that even Transformers Masterpiece MP-43 can't even enhanced / fix. Tarantulas, however, is a good, freakin' solid, figure! His size in beast mode is quite huge, almost 1:1 scale, but not as large as the scary bird eater Amazon tarantula. However, unlike Blackarachnia's poseable spider legs, Tarantula's spider legs are not quite poseable, so i have to fold them facing front. He has extra accessories besides his crossbow blaster, which is his circular chainsaw. But honestly i don't really care about that chainsaw because the weapon storage is kinda awkward in beast mode anyway.
