The Gilbert Police Department (GPD) has been awarded $13,000 in Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) grant funds for the 2024 Buckle Up Arizona (Click It or Ticket) Enforcement National Campaign. The nationwide campaign will take place May 20th – June 2nd, 2024, to coincide with the Memorial Day holiday. Gilbert PD will join law enforcement agencies across the state and country in stepping up traffic patrols with a goal of increasing seatbelt usage rates through education and enforcement. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), 51% of passenger vehicle occupants killed in the United States in 2020 were unrestrained. In 2022, 57% of people killed in nighttime traffic crashes were not wearing a seat belt. The $13,000 grant will be allocated toward Gilbert PD personnel overtime costs. In addition to increased officer patrol, Gilbert PD will be using its social media channels to further share the message on the importance of seatbelt use and proper child restraint systems. Do I need to take SZV-TD for it? ⠀ The SZV-TD form is not submitted in relation to persons with whom civil contracts have been concluded (including contract agreements). ⠀ The SZV-TD form is filled out on the basis of orders (instructions), other decisions or documents confirming the formalization of the employment relationship between the policyholder and the registered person, and contains information about the registered person’s work activity, his hiring, transfers to another permanent job and dismissal ( clause 1.2 of the filling procedure). ⠀ Civil contracts (in particular, work contracts) are regulated by the Civil Code of the Russian Federation and are not labor contracts. ⠀ Therefore, using the SZV-TD form, you do not need to report either the signing of the GPA with an individual contractor or service provider, or the termination of contracts with them. ⠀ In this case, the conclusion of a work contract will lead to a discrepancy between the information in SZV-TD and the data in SZV-M (after all, contractors are reflected in SZV-M). Am Pfingstsonntag fand in Niedercrinitz ein spannender Wettkampf statt, der bereits zur Tradition geworden ist. Bei besten Bedingungen und strahlendem Sonnenschein traten insgesamt sechs Mannschaften gegeneinander an. Wir konnten uns über einen herausragenden Lauf in der DIN-Wertung freuen, bei dem wir eine Zeit von 24,08 Sekunden erreichten. Auch beim Handicaplauf konnten wir überzeugen und erzielten eine Zeit von 18,41 Sekunden. Besonders stolz waren wir auf Lenny, der seinen ersten Lauf absolvierte und sich ebenfalls hervorragend schlug. We’ve received numerous questions about Gretna Police K9 Sergeant Tonya’s current condition. You may remember that she was diagnosed with cancer and had half of her right lung removed. She then began a course of chemotherapy treatments. We are pleased to say that her latest scans are clear and show no signs of the cancer remaining. While she still has nine weeks of chemotherapy left, we are very hopeful that she will be cured of her cancer. Her handler, Detective Brad Cheramie, says she is exhausted from the chemotherapy but in good spirits. Tonya will have to condition her body to adapt to having only half of her right lung, but her prognosis is looking good for a somewhat normal life.
