The #DDProStudio renovation in a nutshell: During Covid-19 lockdown DDPro’s owners @theladydeja & @deetrannybear took the initiative to upgrade their concierge studio in order to create a functional space that could better serve A-list clientele and provide safety, comfort and efficiency, without bias, to anyone seeking to reflect their best self. With the help of contractor #PavelCruz @jester_xiii, the creative directors were able to make their vision come to life. Having this refreshed space has changed the experience for clients and artists. Providing safety and care is part of the #DDPro philosophy. Marginalized groups, especially Trans and Nonbinary folx of color, deserve room to be uplifted and heard. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all! I've been reading through a bunch of holiday posts, as well as my dm's after disclosing my own holiday anxiety in a previous post. Depression is affecting many people during this holiday season. I can truly relate. However, I want to give you all a holiday gift that has been more than valuable to me since I found it. #FAITH started as a grain of sand when I experienced my darkest times. Since then it has revealed itself to be an endless beach right inside of my soul. That is the place where all of my dreams can manifest. That is the place where I can rediscover #JOY. Whenever I get lost from that beautiful beach, I just look for that for that first small grain of sand and hold it tight. There are some times when I can't find my little faith at all. That's when my true friends circle usually swoops in to guide me back to the sandy path through #LOVE. ♡ I took these gorgeous pictures of myself and my great friend @deetrannybear from my new @samsungmobileusa #Note9, in our new work-live home, the #DDProStudio . Yes they are fierce as f***! But what they really are to me is proof that faith works. 8 years ago when we met, I could NEVER have imagined a life of stability and comfort. Let alone a home that is a #SafeSpace for #Queer creatives. I thank God for it all, and most of all for the faith to know that more and better is to come. If you are experiencing a dark moment be assured that you have your own small grain within your soul. Find it, hold it tight, and don't ever let go until you find your own joy.
