Hats off to Nicole L. for this detailed review, "If you actually apply this correctly it’s by far the best wheel tape on the market. Clean the wheels extremely well with alcohol till clean to a rag. In other words you wipe with a clean rag and nothing is on said rag. Coat with adhesive promoter then carefully apply. Add the clear strip to the cut line and allow to cure. Don’t drive your car for at least 24 hours. I have a V series Cadillac and I’ve tracked her twice reaching 140 mph and they have stayed anchored on. Love this product!" I used all of the screws and washers supplied because I wanted a secure fit and extra insurance as I live in the desert and the ground can radiate a lot of heat in the summer. Windy days threw my car around and it didn’t help I have a roof rack, but now I hardly feel it! Older cars can definitely benefit from this kit. Check out the front end of a lot of newer cars. One might notice that under the front bumper, if it’s got a tall nose, there is a type of lip kit, even if it’s recessed back a bit, to reduce lift.I got this kit for looks and because of the durability tests I saw compared to the competition. There aren’t many purpose built lips anymore for my 98 subaru, but I was quite surprised at how it felt after install. I’m decently dialed into my car as I drive at least 100 miles a day for deliveries and have upgraded most of my old suspension components including new oem or polyurethane bushings, bracing, etc. I think the shape of my front end and height of the nose are what made the changes in feel so noticeable." I prepped the bumper with the wipes and barely touched the double-sided tape; instant adhesion! So I worked the rest of the lip on and trimmed it to my desired shape with heavy scissors. I put no other fasteners on it other than the tape to my painted fiberglass front bumper and it's made over a dozen 1/8 mile passes at 115 with no issues!
