Selfless service is something he will continue to share with us all as he pursues his career in the military after graduating.🎖 With the support of his school I was able to make a suprise presentation when the ROTC cadets were in formation after their training. Yesterday the Aden Perry Hero Life Ring Initiative was invited to be a part of the City of Coral Springs Fl Water Safety Day!🛟 It was so exciting to be there in the fabulous new Aden tent compliments of Alan and Erin who are the biggest Cheerleaders of the Aden Perry Good Samaritan and Scholarship Fund and the Aden Perry Hero Life Ring Initiative♥️😃 The City of Coral Springs was the very 1st city to embrace and invite Aden’s truly life saving initiative into their city and although Aden and I live in Sunrise, they honor The Aden Perry Hero Life Ring Initiative like Aden was THEIR hometown hero!🏆🧡 Today was a beautiful day! The love, appreciation and support I received today from the residents was heartwarming and so humbling! They are so grateful for the life rings that are all throughout their city and they were thanking me for having them there!😃. The community truly understands and appreciates what their city is doing to make their Waterway safe! I spent the day teaching the community how to use the life rings and spreading awareness of the dangers of Open Water. Everybody had a chance to throw the rings even the youngest children because ANYONE... Yesterday was a very special and heartfelt dedication of Aden’s Hero Life Rings at Metro-Dade Firefighters Local 1403 Union Hall Lake.🛟 Aden’s family’s roots are deeply planted with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. His Grandfather Gene Perry was a former Director/Chief and his father Alan Perry was a USAR Chief so having Aden’s Hero Life Ring installation ceremony at their Union Hall Lake was like going home .💚 It was an incredibly touching moment surrounded by many people who have loved and supported our family for years. Having their Air Rescue Helicopter do a fly over to honor Aden was an unexpected but beautiful surprise! The love, honor and respect that came with that was truly heartwarming!🚁💚 THANK YOU MDFD! Happy Aden Perry Day! 🕊️ On May 10th Broward County has officially recognized our beautiful Aden Spencer Perry who was kind hearted, ambitious, brilliant, and courageous. Aden is a true hero, making the ultimate sacrifice to save another. Today is a day to honor his legacy. ❤️⭐️ In April of 2022, Aden courageously jumped into a lake to help save a victim of a car crash. His final selfless act is truly an example for others to follow. Together we can honor Aden for his selflessness, kind heart, academic accomplishments, college goals, and ultimate act of courage. The funds from the foundation will be used to keep his memory alive by providing educational support to students in need and to reward students for their out of the ordinary acts of kindness and service. Jakob Thompson is a true role model and a prime example of the heroes we reward through our foundation. 😇💛 On Thursday November 30th 2023, Jakob didn’t think twice as he rushed into water to rescue a woman being swept out into the ocean from the inlet. Because of Jakob’s heroic act, we wanted to honor him through our foundation by providing him with the funds he needs to attend EMT school and continue saving lives. Aden’s Hero Life Rings are going to be installed in the City of Doral!!! This will be our 1st CITY installation in Dade County and there are more coming!🛟⭐️ I was invited to present at their Commission Meeting today and I am happy to say I was met with complete, 💯% support, excitement and understanding of the importance of my mission to get Aden’s Hero Life Rings in every city and by every waterway possible. Thankfully, this teenager was able to rescue the woman and save himself. But unfortunately, that is not always the case! ‼️GOOD SAMARITANS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PUT THEIR OWN LIVES IN JEOPARDY TO SAVE THE LIFE OF SOMEONE ELSE‼️ when something as simple as a life ring can be made available to save someone’s life in a water emergency! 🛟 The Aden Perry Hero Life Ring Initiative’s mission is to save lives by installing life rings by bodies of water to prevent another good samaritan from entering and potentially suffering the same fate as Aden. Aden Perry’s heroic legacy lives on through this initiative and has been installed in cities all across the state of Florida. From the city of Weston to Tamarac lives are being saved. These life rings have been proven to save lives and it is a blessing to have support for this initiative. In an emergency, the life rings will be easily accessible and easy to use. Grab the life ring with your dominant throwing hand and place the rope in the other hand. Before throwing, drop the end of the rope and stand on it to maintain contact. In an underhand motion, throw the ring to the person in distress. Once the person holds onto the ring, slowly pull them toward you and assist them out of the water. Remember, throw, don’t go. Boynton Beach: Honoring a hero; Fire Station 5 — Dec. 20 … In recognition of his heroics, Thompson was invited by Boynton Beach’s fire rescue team to tour the station, where he was met with a surprise: Sarah Perry awarded him the Aden Perry Good Samaritan Scholarship. Perry started the foundation after her son (also 17) died while attempting to rescue someone from a lake. Thompson will receive a scholarship for him to become a firefighter EMT. Aden Spencer Perry was kind hearted, ambitious, brilliant, and courageous. Aden is a true hero, making the ultimate sacrifice to save another. In April of 2022, Aden courageously jumped into a lake to help save a victim of a car crash. His final selfless act is truly an example for others to follow. Together we can honor Aden for his selflessness, kind heart, academic accomplishments, college goals, and ultimate act of courage. The funds from the foundation will be used to keep his memory alive by providing educational support to students in need and to reward students for their out of the ordinary acts of kindness and service. Our foundation also has a mission to save lives. By raising awareness of drowning prevention, we can help prevent other good samaritans from having to make the ultimate sacrifice.
