#FlapFriday #DrOverman Having a skin cancer on your face can be a very scary thing, especially when you find out that the small bump on your nose is actually part of a larger cancer that’s been growing for months or years. One of the great parts about performing Mohs Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery along with continuing to do dermatology is I often get to see my patients back at 12,18, and 24 months after I performed their surgery to see how things are healing. This lovely gentleman was back at 2 years for another skin check and I had to look back in his photos to remind myself of what part of his nose we worked on because the scar was difficult to find. While every tumor we treat is unique and every patient heals differently, my goal for every patient is to return them to as close of their original appearance as possible.
