THIS SKIRT. I’M OBSESSED. I wish we could have gotten a better look at it! I feel like out of the sisters, Piper dresses the least on trend. Not that she’s *not* on trend, but she doesn’t follow them too closely - she usually wears basic, timeless pieces. But let me tell you - this style of skirt was unbelievably trendy in the late 90s/early 00s (and they’ve made a huge comeback recently!) So it’s funny that of all the trends, Piper’s into this one. Especially because when she has worn skirts lately, they’ve been shorter and … slimmer? I think that’s a good way to describe them lol. As for the top half of this outfit, Piper is having yet another blue moment which is HER colour 💙 Orange and blue contrast nicely so the orange details on that shirt really pop 💙🧡 Those shoulder/neckline details by the way are a weird staple for Piper? Her outfit in That Old Black Magic is similar (that was a shirt and vest but same idea) and Ms. Hellfire is next where she wears a *very* similar shirt to this one except it’s green and white. Interesting that Piper not only found this same style in so many shirts, but also wore them all so close together [2.8]

Piper popped off! I love this sort of preppy style she’s been sampling here and there. This fit is giving Polo Ralph Lauren. Especially when she’s standing outside with the field and trees behind her, it looks like a fashion ad. I’m obsessed with those jeans - they fit her so well! Yeah, so … I know she didn’t pull up to work in this. Like after the emotional turmoil she just went through, I KNOW she didn’t put on this goofy outfit and go to WORK! With tears in her eyes still over her dead mom, she put on a mega cropped sweater that’s obviously supposed to be worn over a shirt and just left for the day? This is so unserious! The conditions are not allowing me to like this outfit. I honestly kind of hate it, especially because her bra is bright purple and exposed and the contrast isn’t giving. This is sooooo inappropriate. How is she confidently walking the halls of her workplace? Doesn’t she see what other people are wearing? Doesn’t she feel a little … out of place? She obviously does NOT care. So here’s my explanation for Prue’s sudden intense change in style: she’s still taking her work life/professionalism seriously because she knows she needs to be employed (and she is good at her job) but her heart isn’t in it anymore. With all the things she’s learned about life and herself lately, she doesn’t *personally* value work as much as she used to. This change in wardrobe makes goes to show how far removed she is from this part of her life [2.8]

When Prue first came on my screen in this outfit, I thought it was the same outfit from before and I was like “this girl did not …” She in fact didn’t, but this shirt is still very close to the one she was wearing with her pyjamas previously.
