These are the last 2 of the 6 @delta17toys figures I got - Death Sparrow and Shadow Dragon, the baddies! These are pretty cool, specially Death Sparrow, as a female faction leader - she has the right combination of badassery and looks, and is probably up there with Zarana and the Baroness, in that sense! ๐ Shadow Dragon has a cool mash of Samurai and Robot, which again works well for a leader. My @delta17toys order has also arrived in the UK, so it's my turn to share some photos of these guys! ๐ I got 6, so I'll do them in pairs, to give them their due camera time ๐ first off is Leonidas and Rooster - these two guys were the first to catch my attention when I first learned about this line. Leonidas is a super badass dude, and kudos for finally giving us a good o-ring figure that rocks both shorts and tattoos, I've been wanting one of those for years! I'm a dog guy, so the doggy and doggy bowl are an added bonus for me, even if they don't sit in the backpack as well as I would like. Rooster is just a new Hit n Run type of guy for me - love the green jungle cammo and his hairstyle, just looks ready to kick ass! I like that these figures have special features and that these are explained in the file cards, which are cool and have great background stories, too! I can see some limitations in the legs, like others have mentioned, but personally they don't bother me - I think the sculpts, rotating wrists and great faces more than make up for it! Most of all, it's just great to enjoy entirely new figures and characters and appreciate the work put into them ๐ This is a line I can see myself collecting more of, specially if there are new accessories and even vehicles to go with them! Overall a solid 9/10 on these two for me - I will share the others over the next few days! My custom for today is a new Bronze Bomber concept - made with Gnawgahyde's head and a cool Nemesis Enforcer body sent to me by @foot1212! ๐ I think he blends in pretty well with the other guys, and has got a bit of an "Afrogalactic" vibe going on - @mister.gong, do you approve? ๐ My first ever time painting eyes with white bits, I'm quite pleased with how it came out, did it on first attempt, too! Spearhead is another classic case of a Joe who has good bones, but where the mark was just missed, in my opinion - maybe it's the goofy helmet, or the orange cammo, but I could never realty get into him. Along comes the Night Force recolouring (which I've custom painted him in, as I don't want to fork a lot of money for it ๐ ), a little change of gear and helmet resizing and behold - he looks like a soldier now! I quite like him in these colours and this will definitely get him a few more features in my photos going forward! Works particularly well with NF Outback, because of the similar greens used (or in my case, exactly the same). Any Spearhead love out there?
