Are you down for an adventurous pizza? 😛 This spot has a really cute front patio and the indoor dining area has a cool unfussy chill vibe where you can see into the kitchen. The service was super friendly, knowledgeable, and simply fantastic. After careful perusal of the menu and consult with our server, we chose to share a 12 inch pizza and a half portion pasta. The reason why such careful deliberation was needed was that everything sounded so delicious that we wanted to try everything!...And we will... Be coming back to tick more off of that wonderuous menu. 🤩 Their pizza bases are perfectly crispy with a nice chew, leoparding, and flavour with a lovely fluffy interior when you bit into the crust. They also have such awesome combinations of toppings and flavours using a variety of proteins and cuts. We chose the beef heart tartare which is served like steak tartare with a cheese pizza in place of the usual toasts or crisps. The tartare came with capers, mustard, shallots, lemon zest, Kewpie, fried onions(?), cornichons, etc.. This pizza was the perfect choice for such a hot day as the tartare gave it a refreshing fresh twist. The pasta had a really meaty umami sauce but was also bright and topped with a flurry of Parm. The maccheroni pasta also tasted fresh, house made, and had a really nice texture.
