A product photographer I am not. Currently, I am enjoying paying attention to the chaos. Like tea leaves, things may fall into place and have something profound to say. This feels more accurate than the curiousness of being organized. So!... These are the authentic - AS They FALL - scents and thoughts of the week. 1. I am loving Fishersund NO. 8. I wore this often this week. It's just enough and not too much. It reminds me of the green crunchy spicy dirtiness of spring. Shimmering green and red Rhubarb. It makes me want to stick my hands in some soil. It also reminds me of Un Jardin sur le Nil levels of refreshing aromatic coolness. Maybe she's born with it, Maybe it's Iso E Super. I would shower in this, I would eat it, I would fall asleep on a bed of soft green grass and wake up and eat Rhubarb pie, ideally. 2. Burnt Ginger Incense by Kayuragi. 3. I am sampling BDK and she is fancy. Her life is a mood board of sepia toned images. Everything has a distinct lacquered Monin syrup cashmere blanket quality. Lots of Cashmeran, Vanilla, Musks in the dry downs. I can see why these are beauty journalist favorites. BDK would go out to a cafe for a vanilla latte every single day of the week. Именно с повышением температуры раскрывается ее потенциал живительной прохлады. Чуть водянистая холодная магнолия и лёгкая кислинка бергамота и лайма. И светлая древесная горчинка в базе. Elysium Pour Femme - @rojaparfums | full review. Wow where do I begin with this beauty! 💖💎. This is a sweet floral fragrance yes, but it is bold and enveloping. It’s a sweet floral done right!👌🏽. To me this smells like expensive and luxurious sweets, abit like floral Turkish delights.. served on a silver tray surrounded by precious jewels 💎 ✨. To me it opens up as light, sweet and very feminine with the fruity notes really dancing at the forefront… the peach!🍑 . It’s almost playful but not in a juvenile manner. Like a young vivacious woman who knows how to get what she wants in the sweetest way 💅🏽🎀. As it dries down it becomes deeper.. while maintaining that sweetness, but the floral notes really settle in for me creating a very elegant scent. The rose especially stands out for me.. but you know I looove rose so this is no surprise!😅. The performance with this is 10/10, it projects moderately and has beautiful sillage. On the first day I wore this I sprayed it at 7am and I could still smell myself 12hrs later working having to sniff myself.. and didn’t reapply at any time throughout the day! At around the 7hrs mark I thought it had died down but then one of my patients said I walked passed him and I smelled so good… that told me I had just gone nose blind and it was still very much doing a great job!🥰. Closer to the base, a nice suede osmanthus appears, slightly animalistic, but with filed fangs and claws, not aggressive. The fragrance is beautifully put together and plays on the skin with different facets; in it you can be both a gentle girl and at the same time a powerful businesswoman. Sampling these two fragrances, I find myself divided. Sublimate embodies who I am—a sweet, slightly fruity scent with a gorgeous marshmallow note, comfortable and familiar, a fragrance I could reach for without hesitation. In contrast, Primal Yell embodies a persona I yearn to be. It’s daring, confident, and untamed, with an initial burst of burning metal that dries down to reveal an animalic undertone with hints of cherry and rose. Let me know ✨ I had the pleasure of attending a special breakfast with the brand a couple of weeks ago to learn more about the brand and fragrances. I have to say, I’m blown away by the quality of the scents as well as the rich culture behind them. The fragrances are packed full of the best ingredients, highlighting the beautiful Omani culture. I fell in LOVE with quite a few fragrances, Oud Aquilaria being one of them. Created by the master Dominique Ropion, I knew I would love it. A stunning fruity, aromatic oud packed with apple, rosemary and sage to bring out the fruity aromatic nature. Oud Aquilaria also has Damask rose and Bulgarian rose which I love as it adds that rose/oud vibe which I adore in fragrances. The base has oud, of course, patchouli, amber and labdanum which creates a beautiful deep woody contrast. Did I mention how long lasting this is? It lasts 8+ hours on me with strong projection. BORNTOSTANDOUT. Drunk Maple. This opening to this is so delightful in the maple syrup-ness of it all, and it then transitions to a coffee note. However my nose then gets stuck on the suede and I cant seem to shake it. I cant figure out if i like this or not tbh but also I cant stop smelling it so. Whos to say!!! Amouage baru saja merilis LOVE DELIGHT, parfum terbaru dari koleksi "Secret Garden" mereka di bulan Februari lalu. Begitu lihat piramida parfum ini, langsung masuk daftar keinginan Bon's!!! Dan botolnya keren banget. Bon's suka banget dengan desain botol matte-finish baru yang Amouage keluarkan. Setelah beberapa kali pakai, Bon's menyadari kalau Love Delight ini bener-bener parfum bunglon yang rumit, dan ternyata nggak terlalu "garden-y" seperti yang dibayangkan. Suhu pertengahan 60-an hingga 70-an kayaknya jadi suhu "ideal" buat semua lapisan aroma Love Delight ini. Di suhu ini, Bon's bisa cium aroma jahe dan kayu manis yang pedas dengan sentuhan kulit buah jeruk. Lalu aroma mawar mulai muncul, awalnya lebih "matang", lalu melembut jadi sensasi "rosewater facial mist". Ada aroma bubuk heliotrope yang berputar-putar, kadang muncul, kadang hilang di tengah aroma mawar. Dan jujur aja, Bon's lebih merasakan aroma mawar dibanding melati. Parfum ini benar-benar punya banyak lapisan aroma yang bikin penasaran dan selalu menarik untuk dicium lagi dan lagi. Он именно нектар, который переливается на солнце золотистым цветом. Жасминовый, мягкий, с апельсиновым цветом и капелькой ванили. Умопомрачительно красиво! До слёз просто! • Nuit d’amour - Элегантный но без вульгарщины будуар, со всеми вытекающими: косметика, пудровая вуаль, фиалки. Пожалуй, именно фиалки - единственные из пудрового направления цветы, которые я приемлю. Тут они красиво представлены, тут они не отдают бабушкой и не агрессивны - они утонченные. P.S. Review of the Limited Edition Perfume Mist Trio by Sol de Janeiro in Beijos de Sol, Carioca Crush and Summer é Amor: 💚Beijos de Sol (green) a fruity sunscreen scent, lighter and less floral than Rio Radiance and the mango really comes through as the main fruit along with some aquatic and slightly creamy coconut notes and some musk in the drydown. It is fresh, beachy, and sunny but a bit too similar to other sunscreen scents for me. ❤️Carioca Crush (red) This was my favourite! It has a very fruity opening, very nostalgic like some kind of makeup for the early 2000s maybe a Lip Smacker. The fruit comes from pear and litchi notes with an emphasis on the pear, also quite happy, fresh and bright. There is some sweetness from the praline and dries down with musk and some woody notes. Reminds me of a nice fruity shampoo and I can see the comparisons with Clean Reserve Radiant Nectar. 💜Summer é Amor (purple) This one smells a bit generic to me, an almondy and sweet opening drying down to an ambery white floral. It is sweet, warm and creamy but just not very distinctive to me.
