I am very gratefully… 🙏🏽 busy this week and until the second week of June for graduation lei season! 🎓I have been able to create some lei before the pick up date which has allowed me to take a few more orders this week. I am still open for June orders but I have a wedding to attend the first weekend of June so all lei orders will need to be picked up June 6. Although I appreciate all the lei orders I am receiving, I do miss creating lei po’o which is my first love of lei making. I was asked yesterday how long can one of my lei po’o last. I said sometimes 1 month and at least 2+ weeks! I made this lei po’o on May 11 for my sister who is graduating this Friday from SF State. I knew I would be busy with kui lei orders this week so I wanted to make sure I made her a lei po’o for her special day. Two woman came into Mabuhay today while I was busy working on graduation leis. The first woman shared a story about her time in Hawaii as a child and told me about the aunty who would make her leis. I gifted her this lei and it made her happy. 💜 The other woman ( I think did not want her beautiful face pictured ) …told me that she was meant to come into my boutique today because she had a hard day caring for an elderly person who was having a challenging day.
