Why is he bloody? Where is he going? And most importantly, rage is radiating off him, with a look that says "revenge". Multiple thoughts run her mind, and she makes the impulsive choice of following him, despite her brain talling her to not do so... (...lots of yapping bellow) After the monster incident that left her with scars, Nyx became homeschooled. Unlike her sister, she had no powers, so her parents feared she wouldn't survive a world where monster attacks are daily. It was a miracle that they agreed to Nyx training with Akari, but once they made sure it was safe, they didn't mind her learning self defense. Her mother however, also feared her youngest wouldn't be as succesful as her sister or even cousin. So she had high expectations for her, teaching her to be a "proper lady", extreme manners, holding back her emotions, and many other things like schedules with tutors and ballet performances. Her mother was cold and stern, but also in her mind she believed she did that for her daughter's good. (Which is a lie lol) Its not until a day after a performance, not long after Nyx turned 18, that Nyx gets told she's not gonna train anymore and focus on the following her mother's steps, maybe even arrange a marriage. Nyx starts training w the woman who saved her from the monster as well but every day was difficult w her controlling mother and busy father. Especially the ballet perfomances (or p much anything she did) that were never good enough in her mothers eyes. Punishments usually consist of her mother taking away things that made her feel joy as she thought they were "distractions" and not allowing her to see her sister in certain ocassions.
