Born in the Pacific Northwest, Tehya Sullivan’s art is heavily inspired by nature and the world around her. Through form and design she expresses her love of geology, biology, folklore and mysticism. Tehya loves using earth tone pallets for its calming feel, and different textures mimicking the earth. Her ceramics are a mix of wall hanging sculptures, fancy mugs, bowls and jars. An artist all her life she got into ceramics by working as a studio assistant for the amazing Katie Marks where she learned about ceramics. Tehya started out selling her own work via instagram, she then opened Shadow Moon Ceramics through Etsy, and hopes to eventually open her own store front where she can sell designer handcrafted creations, by her and other artists and thus inspire others to follow their dreams and build a beautiful world full of fine art.
