✨MADE TO CREATE✨ The other day I was driving alone in my car and my mind was just wondering. I’m in a slow season and I feel like I had the capacity to just day dream and reflect. This was not an epiphany, but it kind of was. I was thinking how I was MADE to CREATE in this life on earth. Whatever that looks like. I have always been a creative person. Art lessons as a kid, pottery classes, crocheting, knitting, painting, embroidered sweaters, curating art pieces, interior design mood boards, putting together outfits, fashion, creating styled shoots, and of course photography! ( I created two beautiful children too. Does that count too? 🤣 ) I just truly believe that God gives each person unique gifts. And I believe my gift is creating. It makes me happy and fills me with a passion. When I am not creating, I quickly try to fill the space with something creative. Let’s rewind to 2019 when high schooler Luke and his parents walked into my office at North Greenville U for an admissions meeting. At that time, Luke desired to continue playing soccer at the collegiate level so of course I wanted to help make that a reality. Well fast forward 3 years and Luke transferred to where Caroline attended college and I had left NGU haha. That’s what happens when you follow your heart I guess lol. Soon after I reconnected with Luke at the local coffee shop he worked at, I received an inquiry from Caroline and that lead us to May 23, 2024…the most beautiful day for their Union! Anyone who knows Luke and Caroline can attest to their kindness and authenticity towards others and their genuine care for each other. The Bodle wedding, a family affair! Choosing to have their wedding on this specific club just made sense for Dylan and Chandler. Chandler’s grandparents live within walking distance from River Hills and have been there for nearly 30 years. You can imagine the stories and memories that she and her family have here. Then comes along Dylan, a golf lover. Over the past 5 years, Dylan has also created his own memories that involve this course. Many of them they now share. Fast forward to May 18, 2024 and we find ourselves gathering at a place that feels familiar and safe. From getting ready at Chandler’s grandparents home to dancing and laughing in a room of your favorite people, the journey of the Bodles isn’t beginning but continuing.
