Here’s what one of our mentees, Margaret, recently shared with us: “The biggest insights from my time with my mentor, Joy, have come from really paying attention to what is happening in my body as I speak some of my concerns and moments of gratitude. Ordet «Poesi» kommer fra gresk «poieo» som betyr: å skape. «Vers» kommer fra latin «versus» og betyr å vri og vende. Og det er dette vi skal på dette diktkurset: vi skal skape og vri og vende på ordene, prøve ut, undersøke og eksperimentere, leke og bli kjent med en haug ulike teknikker og metoder, slik som språklige bilder, slik som rytme, vi skal stille spørsmål og lage lister, finne opp ord ingen har hørt før, få språket til å danse. Ordet «lyrikk» kommer fra strengeinstrumentet lyre, og lyrikk handler om musikalitet, om tekster som synger med språket sitt.
