Another beautiful and adventurous day in the forest. We’ve loved watching the seasons change this year during our weekly forest day. Right now the tadpoles are growing legs, the buckeye trees are flowering, the grasses are tall and thick, and the creek is surprisingly full for this time of year in California. I noticed today how much the children gross motor skills have really developed since September. Their balance, coordination, climbing ability, body awareness, and endurance for longer hikes is really evident. We only have 3 more Forest days in this school year, so we are soaking up every wonderful moment.
