The last 3 nights of our 12 Day Road Trip last summer was spent near Jasper. As we were at the tail end of the trip, let's just say we were a little lackadaisical about 'doing all the things'. That said, we did visit Maligne Lake, Maligne Canyon and hiked the Valley of Five Lakes Trail.
That said, it's such beautiful and remote country up there, that just being in the car and traveling between Hinton (where we stayed) and Jasper over the few days we were there was stunningly beautiful. We hope to make it back some day, and do it proper.
Also, so much wildlife - Moose, Elk, Mountain Goats and Rams. oh my!
