Abaaaaandoned fort turned campsite for a niiiight ποΈποΈποΈπ₯ππ
Went ahead and checked into the million star hotel hanging my hammock on these thousand year old pillars ποΈπ₯³π β¨
As I arrived to this all but forgotten fortified bastion I got the pride and joy of seeing a gaggle (flock?) of bats fly out of the tallest watchtower with the sun setting behind creating the perfect backdrop as these creatures of the night embrace their evenings first flight.... That memory is still with me buuut sadly not captured on film however I can say that was pretty damn epic π¦πΌπ«
This hilltop fortress was built back in the day obviously buuuut is currently overlooking a small modern day Indian village which was the perfect spot for watching the sunset while enjoying the dinner of champions π²π΄π
Truly enjoyed exploring this bad girl after getting the hammock hung... Made it extra special aaaand kinda creepy spelunking through these ancient tunnels in the total and complete darkness π€ππ
I had to leave my motorcycle a good 10 minute hike down the mountain and hand carried all the necessary camping gear up to this fortress..... Which was a bit of a chore buuuuut the juice was well worth the squeeze on this one y'all πππ
