I don’t often talk cameras on here, but they are also a passion of mine. All my photos are taken on a Leica M10-D, which I think has a lot in common with the Morgan actually, but more on that some other time. Today I have lens comparison for you.

The first image was shot on a recent reproduction of a 1961 Summilux f1.4. It’s a creamy lens when shot wide open and I’d not actually thought about using it for cars when I got it. It’s great for evocative memory rich photos of my children or around the garden on warm summer evenings. I gave it a try yesterday while out at a favourite spot near Cray and think I really like the effect it has on the car (shot wide open at 1.4).

The second image, shot at the same spot is with my trusty and versatile and much more modern 50mm ASPH Summilux 1.4. It’s sharp and tidy even shot wide open (though this image shot at f2).

So on to the question. Which do you like? Do they give off a different vibe? More with the creamy 35mm or stick with the sharp 50mm going forward?

#Morgan #MorganCars #PlusFour
#morganplusfour #morgansportscarclub #morganmotors #morganowner #british #sportscar #roadster #drivetastefully #carsofinstagram #coolcars #greatcars #sportscars #vintagecars #classiccars #vintage #oakgreenmetallic #leica #leicauk #throughyourleica @morganmotor @leicauk
