This 1979 Aston Martin V8 is one of a claimed 12 left-hand drive Series 4 “Oscar India” examples built for the North American market. It is said to have been refurbished and modified by Autosport Designs of Huntington Station, New York, under previous ownership, with its 5.3-liter V8 upgraded to Vantage specification at that time. Other work during the project included the installation of a replacement ZF five-speed dogleg manual gearbox, a stainless steel exhaust system, staggered-width 16″ Ronal wheels, and replacement suspension components as well as a repaint in Cumberland Grey. Additional equipment includes MSD electronic ignition, burgundy leather upholstery, driving lights, a sunroof, power windows, and a retro-style Bluetooth stereo. This modified Aston Martin V8 was purchased by the seller in 2018 and is now offered with tools, an owner’s handbook, a British Motor History Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
