We left the mountains on this day. It was definitely bittersweet as we were ready to move on but sad about leaving this beautiful place and wonderful people!
We spent the last month walking goats through mountain trails and down to the creek where they were free to munch and drink.
We milked them and made feta, chevre, and ricotta cheese from their milk. We also made sweet cajeta and indulged in all the creaminess.
