🇩🇰There were big smiles and a great atmosphere in the parish hall at Kokkedal Church in Hørsholm earlier when Her Royal Highness Princess Marie and a group of volunteers sorted surplus food from local supermarkets.
The organisation ‘Mad-med-Hjertet’ is behind the initiative, which every Monday and Thursday helps to reduce food waste when the surplus food is distributed to needy families.
During visit, The Princess greeted the organisation's many volunteers, and Her Royal Highness also met some of the citizens who had turned up to receive goods.
