I was telling someone just yesterday about my art and was trying to describe it to them. I said it was colorful, cheerful, bold, and fun. Then they asked me about my color palette. My response was that I always use every single color. They seemed confused by this so I elaborated by telling them, you’ll always find a pink, a red, a yellow, a green, a blue, a purple, black and white.
I’ve tried to use a more limiting color palette before. I worked so hard to do a complementary color scheme one time and I couldn’t do it. I had to keep adding to it. And that’s what defines my artistic style… All the colors, all the time.
